OLIVIA DIDN'T KNOW how to cook, as that was established many times, but for some reason she wanted to surprise Freddie with a picnic date. Now you might be saying but Via, picnics don't require cooking! Wrong! They do! Olivia really liked noodles and she wanted them in the baskets, and she didn't want to buy store bought noodles. She wanted to cook them herself with nothing but love. ❨ And probably a shit ton of spices and salt. She does like her food spicy. ❩ She wanted to ask Freddie about Mary today, even though it was probably nothing and it probably wasn't her business as they were not together but she felt as though it was. ❨ They've kissed and shagged, it's got to be her business somehow. ❩

"Chocolate? Strawberries? If I knew you were asking me out I would've worn something special." Roger Taylor practically lived with them at this point and it annoyed Olivia but she couldn't say anything, her brother will just say something about Roger being a dentist ❨ for someone who studied astrophysics, Brian sure was dumb at times ❩ and tell her to shut up because that's his new favorite line. "Oi, are you ignoring me? Is it because of the gig last week?"

Olivia said nothing, turning her back to Roger, opening the packet of noodles and she dumped that into the pot of boiling water. ❨ She's following instructions this time. ❩ Roger said something again that sounded vaguely like him stealing a strawberry but he left her alone after that, which she was grateful for, she really didn't need to get angry right before a date.

Olivia obviously invited Freddie and the man agreed, saying that he needed to get out the house, something about his over bearing father. The girl didn't really remember her father, just a few bits and pieces as they never spoke about him. Harold May was a very sore subject and the siblings tried to stray from it.

"What did you do to Roger this time?" Brian came in, sighing as he did. He sounded like he was completely done with life itself. Olivia figured that she would be as well if her best mate was Roger Taylor ━━ thankfully it was John.

"Nothing, I'm cooking." Olivia replied, stirring her noodles before adding in some spices and diced peppers. ❨ Did she know what she was doing? You guessed it! No! ❩

"Then why did he come whining to me?"

"I don't know, he's your weird friend." The blonde shrugged, facing her brother. "I'm going out in an hour with John, he needs a break from Florence." She swiftly lied, watching as her brother nodded and she smiled, continuing to pack the picnic basket, all she now needed was the noodles.

"What time are you coming back? There's a new song I wrote that I think you guys will love it." Brian reached into his pockets, pulling out a piece of paper and handed it to his sister, who took it and opened it. Immediately, she saw Brian's neat handwriting. "It's still rough but I think you can make it work."
