"Are the supplies intact?" I ask.

"Of course. They're well intact." A Stormtrooper opens the door.

Prisoners. All engineers. Those who would refuse us. No one should refuse the Empire.

"How many?" I ask.

"Twelve sir." He says.

"Load them out." I say.

Stormtroopers push them out.

"Bring them to the cages." I say.

"You can't do that to us!" A prisoner yells.

"Shut up." A Stormtrooper says.

"No, no. Step forward." I say.

She nods. I lift her head up.

"What's your name?" I ask.

"Shala." She answers.

"And what makes you think I can't?" I ask.

"You've locked up good people." She says.

"There is no such thing as good people." I say.

"Really? Are you blind?" She asks.

"If you say I'm blind, then you truly are." I say.

"I know your voice." She says.

"Oh?" I ask.

"I've heard you speak of peace." She says.

"Clearly you've been in the dark." I light my saber.

I slam it into her. She falls to the ground. A quick and merciful death. She's in a better place now. She won't suffer like the rest. I saved her. I turn it off. The prisoners draw back. I turn to the Stormtrooper.

"Take them to the lower deck." I say.

"Yes, General Ren." He says.
