note: set 3 years after the first chapter, Ava is now three years old 

Dennis sits in the bed with a book in his hands, he glances up at Davia walking towards the bed from hallway "she still asleep?" He asked

"Passed out, but it's 8, I feel like we should wake her up but this is now the longest she's ever slept" Davia said as she got in to the bed next to him

"You want breakfast?" Dennis asked

Davia shakes her head as she moved closer to him "no, I just want to lay here for a bit before we start the day" she said laying her head on his chest

Dennis smiles as he pulls her leg over his lap and slides fingers up and down her thigh "so..I texted Gael and Isabella, asked them if they could watch Ava tonight" he said

Davia looks up at him "why?" She asked

"I may have a toddler free date planed for us" Dennis said

Davia smiles "really?" She asked

Dennis nods "dinner, im cooking, and then I thought we could sit out on the back porch, I finally finshed my song so I can play that for you. It's not a lot or fancy but..I just want to be with you" he said

Davia leans up and kisses him slowly "its perfect, I can't wait" she said

"I told Gael to come and get Ava around 6" Dennis said as he watched Davia get out of the bed "where ya going? I thought we were gonna lay here" He asked

Davia points back to thier bathroom "you're planing a baby free date, something we havent had since Ava was born...so I'm gonna go shave my legs" she said

Dennis laughs "you know I wasn't planing this for that, and also I dont care if you shave your legs or not, thats your choice" he said

Davia shrugs "I know, but its been a while since we've..you know" she said

"What was the other morning?" Dennis asked

"That didn't count, that was quick and rushed, and Ava waking up from her nap didnt really set the mood" she said she and turned heading in to the bathroom

Dennis chuckled "well, im looking forward to it then" He hollered

"You should be! Im breaking out all my fancy lotions for this shower" Davia hollered back

Dennis shakes his head as he went back to his book when he hears the shower turn on and Ava start crying from the other room

"Can you get her" Davia said from the bathroom

"Already on it" Dennis said half way out the door

A little while later Dennis comes back with a very sleepy Ava in his arms, he gets back in the bed and laid Ava against his chest, she may be 3 but she was still tiny "you're gonna have so much with uncle Gael tonight" he said as he glanced over at the bathroom door, catching a small glimpse of Davia through the mirror wrapping a towel around herself and coming back in to the bedroom

Davia smiles at Ava asleep against Dennis's chest "so she wasn't awake?" She asked

Dennis smiles "she was...then I laid down" he said

Davia shakes her head "god, I want a million more of her" she said and went over to the dresser "stupid fertility issues" she mumbled

Dennis watches her "I know" he said and smiled "I can go put her back and we try again" he added

Davia smiles getting dressed "maybe later" she said

Dennis laid Ava down in the middle of the bed with pillows on either side of her before he got up and went over to Davia
