Chapter One

Rachel's POV:

"What if we just run away ?"

"You know we can't do that, Jack" I answer turning around to look at my stubborn boyfriend: the one and only Jack Gilinsky.

"Why not ?" He asks.
"Because we can't"

He sighs "I don't want you to go"

"Me neither." I say snuggling up to his chest.

I was moving to LA in a few days. Right now I live in Omaha and I love this place with my whole heart.

My parents are quite famous Label founders and they have a new office in LosAngeles what means we have to move there.

To say I'm pissed about that is a huge underestimation.

"I'm going to miss you so badly" Jack says hugging me tighter.

I sob "we have still 2 days to spend together and we can always visit each other and FaceTime"

"But it won't be the same" he says pecking my lips and looking me in the eyes.
"I love you, never forget that" Jack says and I nod in response "I love you, too"

He looks at his phone "I think I'll have to go now" he says standing up.

I nod and lead him downstairs.

"Bye gorgeous" he says
"Bye handsome" I answer kissing him.

I close the door turning around to face my mom.

"I'm so sorry, honey. But I can't change it" she says with a sad look.

I nod walking back upstairs to my bedroom. It was already so empty.
I'm going to miss everything.

My friends Nate, Sammy, Kenny, Andrea, Jenny, Jack and jack.

I'm even going to miss my school.

I sigh plopping down on my bed.
Tomorrow is Friday. My friends said that they want to meet up with me one last time before I leave.
And Saturday is my Goodbye party.

A lot of people are invited and our house will probably be the biggest mess afterwards but I couldn't care less.

FRIDAY:

"Hey Rachel !" Andrea says walking up to me after I just left the house.
I hug her.
"So where do we meet the others ?" I ask and she grins.

"They are waiting at the skatepark" she says and a huge smile spreads on my face.

We've been used to meet up in the skatepark since primary school, when we all first met.

I walked with Andrea to the skatepark and when we arrived everyone was already there.

I smile and greet everyone.
I sit down next to Jenny
"What are we doing today ?" I ask

"We thought about just sitting here and chill as always" Sammy says pulling a cigarette out of his pocket.

I roll my eyes "could you at least not smoke today ? On the last day we are here all together ?" I ask a bit harsh and Sammy laughs but eventually puts the cigarette away.

We just sit there talking and laughing for hours until it started to get dark.

"What if we go to my house to watch a movie or something ?" Nate suggests.

Everyone nods and we walk to Nate's house while I'm texting my mom to let her know.

The boys picked out some action movie and soon I fell asleep on the couch laying on Jack G's lap.

SATURDAY:

I woke up to the sunlight blinding me.
I sit up noticing that everyone except me and Kenny are asleep.

I smile at Kenny "morning"
"Morning" he answers walking to Nate's kitchen.

I walk behind him and grab myself an apple.

"What time is it ?" Kenny asks looking threw the fridge.

I look at my phone
"9am" I answer staying on my phone and checking my Instagram.

Johnson uploaded a picture of me and Gilinsky sleeping with the caption 'shhhh the lovebirds are sleeping'

I chuckle to myself and get out of the kitchen to wake up everyone.

I walk back home after saying goodbye to everyone. The party starts at 4pm so still have plenty of time.

My parents are off to work so I get my German shepherd called Chase to go running.

2 hours later I come back home.
It's 1pm so I should start getting ready.

I hop in the shower and wash myself.

I look threw my wardrobe to find something to wear. I choose a white crop top, a wine red skater skirt and some black heels.

I do my makeup and hair.

As I finished it's already 2.30pm. My parents promised me that they won't be home until tomorrow morning.

Someone rings on the door. I go to open it.

"Hello honey"
"Hi mom" I answer letting her in.
"Wow you look stunning"
"Thank you" I smile.
"Well I'm here to pick up Chase so he won't disturb you at your party. Where is he ?" She asks (chase is the dog)
"In the garden" I answer.
"Okay, have fun. See you tomorrow" she says hugging me and walking off.
"Bye mom" I say closing the door.
