Chapter Sixteen

Rachel's POV:

It was monday and everything went on normally until we had lunch. I got there with Lox and everyone was already there. I sat down next to Cam and ate my food. I didn't talk much and a few minutes later my phone buzzed. Pulling it out, I saw that I got a text from madison.

From: Madison

I'm sorry it had to turn out this way. At least Jack is finally happy now, since he asked my to be his girlfriend. We wanted you to know that we have a thing going on, for kind of a long time. We didn't want to hurt you.

I didn't answer and stared at the text. I heared Cam growl next to me and I looked up to see that he was looking on my phone screen. I locked it and put it away fastly and finished my food. The next days were pretty boring and I didn't talk much to anyone and I didn't feel like eating. People started to get worried but I just told them that I was ok.

Friday afternoon I got a text from Nash that he will be throwing a Halloween party next weekend and that he wants me to come. I agreed and texted Ella to ask her if she'll go dress hopping with me.

Not even an hour later she was standing at my front door, smiling from one ear to another. "Finally you want to go shopping with me again" she cheered and pulled me into her car. I laughed at her and we drove to the mall and soon found a costume shop. We decided to  get matching costumes.

She got a Lilo coustume and I got the matching Stitch one since we both love that series.  After buying them we just ran around the mall and bought some other stuff. As the mall closed, Ella drove me home and stayed for a sleep over. We actually ended up falling asleep on the couch while watching Friends. 

The next morning I was awoken by someone ringing the door bell. Ella woke up too and I walked to the door while yawning. I opened the door and Cam walked past me into my house.

"Uhm good morning ?" I said and walked past him.

"I need to talk to you about what happened after the par.. Oooh" He said as he walked into the living room and spotted Ella sitting on the couch. "I'll just talk to you later. I guess" he said and walked out.

"Well that was weird" I said and sat down on the couch across from Ella. "What happened after the party ?" she asked with a serious voice.

"Err.. I slept over at nashs and afterwards Cam, Nash and I cleaned the house." I said what wasn't actually a lie. She rolled her eyes "Tell me now. Do you not trust your bestfriend ?" she said and looked me straight in the eyes.

"Fine, I woke up with Cam in Nashs bed" I mumbeld. "Did you .. ?" she asked and I shook my head before she could finish that sentence. "I'm pretty sure we didn't" 

"What do you think he wanted to talk with you about ?" she asked. "No idea. Maybe his girlfriends some how found out" I answered. Ella stayed a bit longer and we just talked about school and Nashs up coming party.

Around 2pm she left and I got a text from Cam aksing me if he could come over. I replied him, saying that he could come.

He was at my house around 15 minutes later and we were sitting in my room. "What did you want to talk about ?"

"Stephanie is getting suspicious." he said

"Why ?"

"Someone may have told her something"

"I didn't tell her anything. I told nobody" what was a bit of a lie but I just told Ella a few minutes ago, she couln't have told Stephanie something.
