Chapter Six

Rachel's POV:

Ella has been really tense when I was around and i noticed her avoiding me as much as possible. I don't know exactly why she acted like that but I guess she didn't enjoy the sight of me and Cameron wearing nothing but underwear in the ocean.

Today is saturday what means today is the last day before school starts again. Lox texted me that we are meeting up at the beach. I pulled on some black shorts with a pink tie dye shirt, I  once did with Andrea back in Omaha and I slipped on some grey Flipflops. I grabbed my phone, my keys and my bike.

After 10 minutes I arrived at the beach and was greeted by Lox and Ruby.

"Where is Ella ?" i asked.

"she's at the beach with some other friends" Ruby answers and i nod. I've met a few of their friends at the party but I don't remember a lot of them since I was quite drunk.

We walk  closer to the beach to where some other people are gathered. I greet a few of them and look out for Ella as I feel a hand grabbing my arm. I turned around to see Cam smirking down at me.

"hello kitten" he said

"i told you to not call me kitten and now let me go please" i answeer pulling my arm out of his grasp.

"Calm down, I just said hello." he said laughing.

I rolled my eyes at him and walked away. 

I saw Ellla sitting next to her boyfriend Michaek and a few other boys. She looked borred and I assume that Michael didn't give her much attention. I walked up behind her and layed my hands on her eyes 

"coucou c'est qui ?" i say in high pitched voice and Ella laughs pulling my hands off of her face. She turned around and looked at my face, her smile slowly fading away. 

"Hi Rachel"

"hey. Let's go for a walk" i say and pull her up.

She nods and we start walking around.

"why are you mad at me ?" i say going straght to the topic and i kind of regret it.

She looks at me, her eyes being a little darker then the usual. " You know what's wrong. You fucking hooked up with Cameron !" she yells.

"we didn't hook up ! I can't stand Cam and we were both drunk. And even if we did hook up, why would you care in the first place ?" i scoff.

She looks at her feed. "Rachel, I'm sorry. You can't know this."

"you mean cam trying to hook up with you but you getting in a relatonship with michael ?" I respond.

she looks up at me with teary eyes and nods.

"Cam told me, that's why I try to avoid him" i say and she nods her head again. I wrap my arms around her "I'm sorry if i hurt you with anything I did yesterday" i mumble in her hair.

"You know, it's weird. Even though he was a complete asshole to me and just wanted me to hook up, I've always find him attractive and that's not good, Rachel. I have a boyfriend who i love but Cameron drives me crazy even though I haven't talked to him in such a long time. He has a weird effect on me." she says still holding me tight and i start stroking her head.

We stayed like that for a while and than eventually walked back to the beach. I saw Cam glanzing over to me a few times this evening. He had a blonde girl under his arm, probably his new catch.

The evening went by fast and at 10pm almost everyone was gone. Ruby had left with a boy called Matt who she met today. 

"Guys, I'm driving home with michael. See you tomorrow. Rachel, I'll pick you up in the morning in front of your house" Ella said and hugged us while Michael waved us goodbye.

Lox and I kept sitting there for quite a long time until Lox decided to find her bestfriend Jacob to drive home. We say goodbye to each other and I walk off to get to my bike. 

"Kitten ! There you are, I looked for you the whole day" i hear cameron say behind me.

"What do you want, Cam ?" i asked turning around to see him sitting in his bike with that blonde girl sitting behind him.

"Me and Kate, the beautiful girl right here, are going to my house to celebrate the last summer day" he says laying a hand on Kate's tight as she giggles at his actions.

"Good for you. And why did you feel the need to tell me that ?" i say keeping my focus on him and ignoring the girl right behind him.

"I just wanted to be a good friend and ask you if you want us to accompany you on your way home." he said looking back at me.

"We aren't friends and no thanks i don't need you to bother me on my way home" i answered getting on my bike and driving away.

"Hey, honey. How was your last summer day ?" my mom said as i got inside.

"It was good." i answered "I think I'm going to sleep now, oh and Ella is picking me up for school tomorrow morning" 

"Ok, goodnight" my dad said.

I walked upstairs into my room and locked my door. I chaged into an oversized grey shirt and black into some comfortable  black shorts. I removed my makeup and went into my new king sized bed.

I pulled out my MacBook and went on facetime and calling kenny since he texted me that they are meeting up at his house.

Kenny picked up after a few rings. All of my Omaha friends smiled at me and waved.

"hi babe" G said smiling at me.

"how are you doing over there in LA" Sammy said forming the letters LA with his hands.

"I'm fine but I miss y'all a lot and tomorrow is the first day of school." i said frowning. "and how are you guys ?"

We kept talking for an hour and around midnight I fell asleep.

I'm so sorry I didn't post in such a long time ! I haven't been able to because my iphone is deactivated (I need to fix that soon otherwise I'll die) and I've only been able to use my moms laptop but sunce she uses it a lot herself I don't get to be here on wattpad a lot. But i'll still try to update more and fix my phone.
