AVATAR: THE LAST AIRBENDER

Avatar Day

Sokka is sleeping with his mouth wide open, because of this a spider had made a spider web in his mouth and Momo reaches in his mouth to grab it and Sokka shoots awake. "What are you doing in my mouth?" Sokka says angrily as Momo sits their chewing on the spider, "Momo, you need to be a little more sensitive to my boundaries." He says a bit more calmly. The lemur seems to notice something else on his left. He completely ignores Sokka's comment and climbs on his face, where he erects himself and pricks up his ears to determine what it is he heard. He chitters loudly, waking up Katara, who was sleeping on a nearby sawed off tree trunk. Aang and Okna are sleeping peacefully on Aapa. The two only wake up as the ground begins to shake and see they are surrounded by Fire Nation soilders. 

"Give up! You're completely surrounded!" A soilder named Monke shouted. 

Leaving everything behind, the group hops on Aapa as fast as they can, but Katara and Aang noticed they left something.

"My scrolls!" Katara shouts.

"My staff!" Aang shouts. 

They both go after their things having to fend off the Fire Nation in the process. Just as they get on and flay away, Sokka pats himself, and then looks around to notice his boomerang wasn't there. He looks down and sees its still there. 

"My boomerang! We have to go back." Sokka says. 

"There's no time." Katara tells him. 

"But, there's time to get your scrolls and Aangs staff?" Sokka says annoyed.

"Thats correct!" Katara says cheerfully.

Later, Aapa landed next to a small hut where the group gets produce. 

"I'm sorry about your boomerang, Sokka." Aang apologizes.

"I feel like I've lost part of my identity." Sokka says sadly. 

"Aw, Sokka..." Okna says feeling sorry. 

"Imagine if you lost your arrow, or Katara lost Her loopy thingys..." Sokka starts.

"Okay..." Katara responds

"And what if Okna lost her weirdness." Sokka says

"Okay, we get it." Okna tells him

Sokka slowly saunters over to the stall, where Katara gives him a loving hug in order to comfort him before she holding her hands in front of herself while smiling lovely at Sokka. 

"Here's your produce, ponytail guy." The merchant says.

Sokka grabs the produce and begins to look sad, "I used to be boomerang guy."  

Katara hands the man money, "Hey, Water Tribe money!" The merchant says cheerfully. 

"I hope that's okay." Katara responds.

"Money is money." The merchant says before putting the money in his pocket, "Happy Avatar day." 

"Avatar Day?" Okna asks. 

"You guys are going to the festival, right?" The merchant asks. Okna and Katara look at eachother trying to figure out what to do as Aang comforts Sokka while tears rub down his face. 

The group goes to the crowd of people in the street. 

"I can't believe I didn't know there was a Avatar Day." Okna admits

"Non of us did." Katara replies

"Yeah, but I should've." Okna said. 

"It's fine. Not even Aang knew, so why should you?" Katara comforts
