Seunghyun was situated a few seats beside Yaeri and she has a clear view of him. He was listening intently to the teacher's explanation, occasionally jotting down notes on his book.
She couldn't comprehend a single word that came out from the teacher's mouth, not with the presence of Choi Seunghyun since a month ago.
Her mother and father are cardiologist and neurologist respectively. They are well-known because of their astonishing skills and their surgeries have 90% success rate.
Yaeri is constantly under pressure to be like them. Her parents expect her to obtain a flawless set of scores. Science is her strong suit. She never failed to secure the first place among the whole cohort. She loves to study. Until Seunghyun came.
Studying became a difficult thing to do. She's easily distracted when she's in the classroom and when she's at home, the only person she can think about is him.
The bell rang, indicating that the day has ended. After greeting the teacher, Yaeri sauntered to Seunghyun's place and stood in front of his desk.
"Seunghyun-ah, can you help me with this question? I can't seem to figure this out no matter how hard I think," Yaeri showed him the question she intentionally circled.
"How can you solve it if you're only staring at Seunghyun the whole day?" Jiwon, Seunghyun's seatmate remarked sarcastically and snickered.
"I'm sorry, I have something else to attend. Maybe next time?" Seunghyun answered and slung his back on his shoulder, then walked away leaving the girl speechless.
"Seunghyun, you should ignore people like her. She's obviously flirting with you,"
"I know, that's why I did that. I've met a lot of girls like her,"
"and here we thought that she's a nerd. Can't believe she's that daring,"

Jiyong was standing in front of the school gate. They were released earlier than the others and he decided to wait for someone.
Seungri, Daesung and Youngbae went to the neighbourhood arcade and Jiyong told them to go ahead without him.
He glanced at his wristwatch and it's already 4:15pm. She's supposed to come anytime soon.
Just then, he identified the familiar figure and walked briskly to catch up with her.
"Noona! I've something to say," Mirae stopped and saw Jiyong from a distance. Ever since that night, Mirae and the four boys from Seoul grew closer and she's at ease whenever they're around her. She's especially fond of Jiyong because he always shared with her about his problems and what had happened in school.
"Yes, Jiyong? Is there anything wrong?" He shook his head before answering.
"Ani (no), I was just wondering if you have time right now?" Jiyong had confirmed his feelings towards the person in front of him and he's determined to confess on that day.
"Sure, let's go to the cafe shall we?" A small smile appeared on her face.

"Here's your caramel macchiato, and an americano for me," Mirae insisted for her to pay for the drinks and but Jiyong said that he wanted to treat her.
"Gomawo," she thanked as Jiyong drank his coffee bit by bit.
"So what is the thing that you wanted to talk about?" She initiated the conversation as the person in front of her was silent the whole time.
"Today I got my history paper back and I failed.. Please cheer me up, will you?" He didn't want to get straight to his real intention and wanted to converse with the girl longer.
