As the evening sun dipped below the horizon, casting a warm amber glow over the school grounds, Keval pedaled his bike, the cool breeze ruffling his hair. It was his favorite time of day, a moment of tranquility before nightfall.
He cycled with a sense of freedom, the empty school grounds a playground of memories. Lost in thought, he didn't notice the figure emerging from behind the gymnasium until it was too late. His bike collided with a soft form, and a gasp escaped both of them as they tumbled to the ground."Ahana!" Keval exclaimed, his heart racing not just from the fall but from the realization that he had accidentally hit his childhood crush.
Ahana, the quiet girl who preferred the company of books to people, the one who had always held a special place in his heart. She looked up, her wide eyes filled with surprise and a hint of pain. "Keval?" she murmured, her voice barely audible. Keval scrambled to his feet, offering his hand to help her up. "I'm so sorry! Are you okay?" he asked, concern lacing his words. Ahana nodded, avoiding his gaze as she accepted his hand. Her touch was light, almost hesitant, and Keval felt a jolt of electricity at the contact.
Once she was standing, she quickly dusted herself off, her cheeks flushed with embarrassment."It's fine," she said softly, her eyes darting everywhere but at him. "I should have been more careful."
"No, it was my fault," Keval insisted, guilt gnawing at him. He had dreamt of talking to her for years, but not like this.
"Really, are you sure you're okay?"Ahana nodded again, her shyness making the air between them thick with unspoken words. She glanced at him briefly, her eyes like deep pools of mystery that Keval longed to dive into. "I... I have to go," she said awkwardly, turning to leave."Wait," Keval called after her, but she was already walking away, her steps quickening as if to escape the moment. He watched her retreating figure, a mix of frustration and determination boiling within him. He had missed his chance to say something meaningful, to bridge the gap that had always existed between them. But this accidental encounter had reignited his resolve. As he picked up his bike, he made a silent promise to himself. This academic session would be different. He would find a way to break through Ahana's shell, to show her that he cared. He would make her his, not just in his dreams but in reality. The journey ahead might be challenging, but Keval was ready to take it, one step at a time.how was the chapter lovelies! i see that views are increasing but votes and comments aren't! so vote.
