Flashback
A woman was seen walking the barren halls of a palace. She was the absolute vision of ethereal beauty, her presence both commanding and serene. Her fair skin glowed with a soft, almost luminescent quality, hinting at her divine heritage. Her hair was as white as freshly fallen snow, cascading in silken waves down her back, shimmering faintly in the light.
Her eyes were perhaps her most striking feature—a mesmerizing mix of orange and pink, like the first light of dawn mingling with the hues of a sunset. They radiated warmth and wisdom, a reflection of the celestial realms from which she hailed. Her gaze could be both tender and fierce, conveying compassion and determination in equal measure.
“Your highness, her majesty is requesting your presence.”
The serene atmosphere was broken by a voice which had a blend of awe and humbleness.
“I’ll be right there” The woman-Aria-replied.
Aria’s voice was soft yet authoritative, carrying the lilt of the divine yet grounded in the reality of the world she called home. When she spoke, it was with a clarity and conviction that left no doubt of her sincerity and strength.
In every aspect, Aria embodied the bridge between the celestial and the terrestrial, a beacon of hope and the absolute authority of the world.
…
Aria walked through the grand corridors of the celestial palace, her steps echoing softly against the marble floors. The palace was a masterpiece of divine architecture, with towering columns, intricate mosaics, and ethereal light that seemed to emanate from the very walls. As she approached the throne room, the massive doors adorned with golden vines and celestial symbols swung open before her, revealing the heart of her mother’s realm.
The throne room was a vast, luminous hall filled with the fragrance of blooming flowers and the sound of gentle, flowing water. At the far end, on a dais of purest alabaster, sat her mother, the goddess and queen. She was a vision of regality and grace, her presence commanding yet comforting.
Queen Elara, goddess of the earth, possessed a beauty that was both timeless and awe-inspiring. Her skin was a warm, radiant gold, and her hair flowed in waves of rich, earthy brown, adorned with delicate flowers that seemed to bloom and fade with her every breath. Her eyes, a deep, verdant green, sparkled with wisdom and love. She wore a gown of emerald and gold, the fabric shimmering like the leaves of an ancient forest kissed by sunlight.
As Aria entered, the maids and guards who attended to the queen’s needs bowed deeply and quietly exited the room, leaving mother and daughter alone. The massive doors closed with a soft thud, sealing their private moment.
Aria walked forward, her eyes meeting her mother’s, and as she reached the foot of the dais, she knelt in respect. Queen Elara rose from her throne with a graceful fluidity and descended the steps to her daughter. She extended a hand, lifting Aria to her feet and enveloping her in a warm embrace.
“My precious Aria,” Elara whispered, her voice filled with affection. “It has been too long since we had a moment to ourselves.”
Aria returned the embrace, feeling the familiar comfort of her mother’s presence. “Mother, I’ve missed you,” she said, her voice muffled against Elara’s shoulder.
Elara gently pulled back, cupping Aria’s face in her hands and studying her with a tender gaze. “You have grown even more beautiful and strong, my dear. Your father and I are so proud of you.”
Aria smiled, her eyes shimmering with emotion. “Thank you, Mother. I am honored to serve our realms and uphold the duties entrusted to me.”
Elara led Aria to a nearby seating area, where they sat on plush cushions surrounded by blooming flowers and trickling fountains, the soft light of the throne room casting a serene glow around them. The tranquility was momentarily overshadowed by the weight of the conversation that Elara knew they needed to have.
Elara took a deep breath, her eyes meeting Aria’s with a mix of concern and determination. “Aria, there is something of great importance that we must discuss.”
Aria’s expression grew serious as she listened intently. “What is It, Mother?”
“In your father’s realm, the heart of the forest, a powerful artifact, was once whole and vibrant,” Elara began. “It is the source of progress, fertility, and even the likelihood of female births in Beastworld. However, it was shattered and scattered across the realms.”
Aria’s eyes widened with understanding. “And only females can sense the pieces of the heart, correct?”
Elara nodded. “Yes, that is why your father, in his desperation, made an agreement with the god of Earth. They arranged to transport a female from Earth to Beastworld in return for emeralds. These emeralds sustain life on Earth, countering the damage humans have done.”
Aria’s brows furrowed as she absorbed this information. “So, the heart of the forest has been partially restored, but it is taking a long time?”
“Precisely,” Elara confirmed. “The females who were brought here to sense the heart have not prioritized this task. Their focus has often been diverted, and the progress has been agonizingly slow. This delay has had significant repercussions on Beastworld.”
Aria nodded, understanding the gravity of the situation. “That is why you need me to go there and restore it once and for all.”
Elara squeezed Aria’s hands gently, her eyes filled with both pride and concern. “Yes, my dear. You are uniquely suited for this task. Your divine heritage and your compassionate heart make you the perfect candidate to sense and restore the heart of the forest. Your father and I believe that you are our best hope.”
A flicker of concern crossed Aria’s face. “But what about my duties here in our realm? I can’t abandon them.”
Elara’s expression softened with understanding. “Your brother, who has been tasked with protecting the transmigrated females if the need arises, will temporarily take over your responsibilities here. After all, we know that you don’t need his protection there, so he would basically be useless there. Moreover, he understands the importance of this mission has and is more than capable of handling your duties in your absence.”
Aria felt a surge of determination mixed with relief. “I will do it, Mother. I will restore the heart of the forest and bring balance back to Beastworld.”
Elara smiled, her eyes shimmering with unshed tears. “I have no doubt that you will succeed, Aria. Remember, you carry the strength and love of your family with you. We will always be here to support you.”
Aria embraced her mother once more, feeling the warmth and strength of their bond. “Thank you, Mother. I won’t let you down.”
As they parted, Aria felt a renewed sense of purpose. She was ready to face the challenges ahead and fulfill her destiny, not just as the daughter of a god and goddess, but as a beacon of hope for all her realms.
