Aria woke to the gentle sounds of the forest, her new home vibrant with life. The den was cozy and warm, with sunlight filtering through the entrance, casting dappled patterns on the floor. She blinked her eyes open, adjusting to the strange but beautiful surroundings. Her tiny body was nestled in soft, fur-lined bedding, and the scent of her new family filled the air, a mixture of earthy tones and comforting warmth.
Her mother, the queen, sat nearby, her regal presence a calming force. "Good morning, little one," she said, her voice a melodic blend of authority and tenderness. Aria felt a surge of affection for her new mother, though she still carried the memories of her divine parents.
Aria's fathers and brothers were already bustling around the den. Ursan, the bear father, was preparing breakfast, his massive paws surprisingly gentle as he handled the food. Selwyn, the sleek panther father, moved with fluid grace, his eyes always alert. Rafe, the wolf father, played with Jax, the rabbit father, their laughter echoing through the den.
The queen approached Aria, lifting her gently. "Today, we begin your lessons," she said, smiling down at her. "You must learn the ways of the Beastworld."
"Mate, Aria is still too young moreover she doesn't even understand us right now. I think it's still too early for something like this. Moreover, she doesn't need to learn all of this in the future either.
She just needs to be happy and carefree, all of the other worries can be carried by the males of the family." Her father, Alaric entered and sat beside her mother.
Liora, her mother glared at her father, "what do you mean by that? The more Aria knows the better, and so what if she still doesn't understand me. It's not as if I'll only tell her once, I'll continue explaining everything to her in the future.
Moreover, didn't that rabbit female beast in the Burrowgrove village show a way to increase the intelligence of children by talking to them more, even when they don't understand it. I also want my Aria to be happy and carefree but not clueless."
"Alright, alright, my fault" Alaric holds his ears in forgiveness.
"Of course it is" Liora grumbled.
'Rabbit female? Must have been one of the transmigrated females. Though not a lot of the females were able to gather the heart of the forest, they did invent new things and increase the knowledge here.'
Aria was pulled out of her thoughts by her mother's voice.
"Aria, let's start from learning about our family. Ok?"As the day progressed, the queen taught Aria about the different beasts and their roles. She explained how each mate's abilities were crucial for survival. "Ursan's strength keeps us safe from the larger predators," she said, gesturing to the bear-like beast. "Selwyn agility and stealth allow him to scout and gather information. Rafe's loyalty ensures we always have a protector, and Jax's speed and senses help us avoid danger."
Aria listened intently, absorbing every word. She was fascinated by the dynamics of her new family and the intricate balance they maintained. Her brothers, too, were eager to help, demonstrating their unique skills and teaching her through playful interactions.
After breakfast, Ursan carried Aria on his broad shoulder as they ventured outside the den. The world beyond was a blend of towering trees, vibrant foliage, and a symphony of wildlife.
The village bustled with activity. Villagers moved about their daily tasks, gathering food, tending to the land, and crafting tools and trinkets from the bounty of the forest. The village was alive with the sounds of laughter and chatter as villagers traded goods and shared news. Aria marvelled at the beauty and vastness of the Beast world.
