The hall of the Swayamvar was vast and grand, its impressive size emphasizing the importance of the event. At the front side of the hall, facing the platform, were the thrones of the Panchal royal family, exuding regality and power. These thrones were intricately carved from sandalwood, inlaid with gold and adorned with plush cushions of royal blue and deep red velvet.

At the center of the arena, a slightly raised platform drew everyone's attention. Positioned prominently on this platform was a giant metallic bow, covered in an array of vibrant flowers that added a touch of beauty to its formidable presence. The arena buzzed with activity, as several soldiers stood guard, ensuring the security and order of the proceedings, while servants moved gracefully, attending to the needs of the guests .

Around the perimeter of the hall, thrones for the visiting kings and princes were arranged in a semicircular formation, each positioned to offer a clear view of the platform. These thrones were individually unique, reflecting the distinct artistry and cultural heritage of each kingdom. Some were made of finely polished teakwood with intricate ivory inlays, while others boasted gold leaf embellishments and precious gemstones.

The seating arrangement was meticulously planned, with the most powerful and esteemed rulers given the most prominent positions, closest to the platform. Each throne was accompanied by a small table for refreshments, and attendants were stationed nearby to serve their royal guests. The overall scene was one of grandeur and meticulous organization, setting the stage for a momentous occasion .

Karna entered the hall, capturing everyone's attention. Many kings and princes watched with envy as the tall, handsome man made his way into the sabha in regal attire. His royal dress was crafted from luxurious silk, adorned with intricate gold embroidery and precious gems that sparkled with every step. He wore a majestic crown, encrusted with diamonds and rubies, which shimmered under the hall's golden lamps.

The maids, seeing the magnificent son of Surya, couldn't help but marvel at his presence, their admiration evident in their wide-eyed gazes .

Drithstadhyumna, the Prince of Panchala, personally escorted the King of Magadha to his throne, sparking curiosity among the visitors . Many speculated about his identity, but some already suspected him to be the valiant warrior who had dared to challenge and defeat the formidable Jarasandha. Reports from spies confirmed their suspicions, as the description of the king matched that of the handsome young man who had entered the assembly. Thus, the truth dawned upon them .

As the Pandavas caught sight of Karna, they chose to ignore him completely, while Duryodhana and the Kauravas warmly greeted him before resuming their seats. Numerous kings eagerly approached Karna, hoping to forge alliances with him.

Meanwhile, Draupada sat regally upon his throne, observing the array of kings vying for the hand of her esteemed daughter. Yet, deep within, he harbored a sense of apprehension, for he pondered the daunting challenge set forth by the revered Dwarkadhish, Lord Krishna .

Was there truly among the gathered Kshatriyas one who could rise to the occasion, completing the task and thus winning her daughter's hand ?

"Fear not, Maharaj," reassured Krishna, casting a knowing glance towards the son of the Sun god. "I am certain that the task ahead will be conquered by a true warrior. Rest assured, my sakhi's hand shall be claimed by one of the noble warriors assembled here."

Draupad nodded, allowing his worries to dissipate as he turned his attention back to the gathered kings.

After a brief passage of time, a resounding announcement echoed through the hall, accompanied by the majestic sound of trumpets. All eyes turned towards the entrance as the proclamation rang out: " Behold, the Princess of Panchala, daughter of Maharaj Draupad, Rajkumari Draupadi, makes her grand entrance ."

Through the ornate entrance, draped in regal splendor, emerged Rajkumari Draupadi, a vision of ethereal beauty that captured the gaze of all who beheld her .

Her lustrous ebony locks cascaded down in waves, adorned with delicate jasmine blooms, emitting a fragrant aura as she gracefully traversed the expanse of the hall. Her almond-shaped eyes, aglow with an inner fire, sparkled with wisdom and grace, while her rosebud lips curved into a gentle smile, radiating warmth and charisma .

Draped in resplendent silks of the finest craftsmanship, the fabric whispered with each step, cascading in rich hues of royal blue and gold, accentuating her slender form.

Upon her neck shimmered a cascade of pearls, each lustrous orb reflecting the ambient light, while cascading down her graceful neckline. Adorning her delicate wrists were bangles of gold, chiming softly with her movements, a testament to her royal lineage and opulent stature.

Beside her, walked her sister Shikhandini, a vision of strength and support,  Together, they moved towards their respective thrones  .

As the Princess of Panchala graced the hall with her presence, a collective awe swept over the assembled kings and princesses. They found themselves entranced by Draupadi's unmatched beauty, unable to fathom the privilege of claiming her as their beloved.

Those who had journeyed from distant lands, drawn by tales of her incomparable grace and charm, now stood witness to her magnificence firsthand, reluctant to depart Panchala without securing her hand in marriage .

Arjuna found himself utterly captivated by the unparalleled beauty of Draupadi. Despite encountering numerous stunning women throughout his life, none could compare to the radiant Princess of Panchala.

Similarly, the other Pandava brothers were equally enchanted, unable to resist admiring her divine allure. Yet, amidst their admiration, a singular thought consumed their minds: Would they be able to win the hand of the illustrious Panchal princess?

Meanwhile, Karna, though acknowledging Draupadi's extraordinary beauty, soon found his thoughts drifting towards his own tumultuous heart. His mind wandered to the enigmatic princess who had occupied his thoughts for the past year, leaving him pondering what the future held in store for him .
