When we make it back, Chan is eyeing me. Should I talk to Jisung first and then our friends? I'd rather clear everything with my boyfriend first, but when? When is the right time?

"Everything okay?" Hyunjin asks. We both nod, grabbing another drink after sitting down.

"It will be," Seungmin mutters with hope. He shoots me a smile; I mirror it, taking a swig.

"Guys, I have an announcement. Er, Changbin and I do," Felix says with excitement. The younger grabs Bin's hand. "We're finally going to get an apartment together once the school year ends. Jeongin will be moving in with Channie, finally."

"This is means for a toast," Chan grins, grabbing his own drink he had been sipping.

We all stand, waiting for him to continue. "With great power, comes great responsibility."

"Wack," Jisung mocks.

Chan ignores it. "Throughout the years of our friendship, we've gone through the utmost terrors of life. Despite our past and current hardships, we've stuck together. Eight is fate, as some people say. I love all of you."

"Boo," Seungmin sticks his tongue out.

Chan rolls his eyes. "Anyway, Felix, I loved having you with me. I'm so grateful you were able to stay with us for the rest of high school and now your adult life. You and Bin better take care of each other well or else. Innie, I love you dearly. I'm excited to start this new chapter with you. Thank all of you for the continued love and support. May we be healthy in the future and lead happy lives."

Our glasses clink, all of us agreeing and happily chatting away with the amazing toast. The words he said were almost a reminder of how we got here. It made me feel a lot better, almost completely at ease with the future conversations we were going to have. Chan loves me. He loves all of us. Seungmin is right - he was trying to talk and figure it out. He cares. Why did it take me so long to figure out?

We sit back down, finishing off the night with them. There was no background noise. No movie, no music, just us. Oh, and snacks, of course. Let's not burn those.

I get up, going to the kitchen to pull the small treats I made from the oven. They're beautiful. I pull out the glaze from the fridge, pouring it over the rolls. The boys will love these.

"Minho?"

I look, seeing Jeongin standing shyly in the doorway. "Hey Innie, what's up?"

"I'm... Can I talk to you?"

I nod, "always."

"I'm scared for next year."

"What are you scared about?"

"Moving in with Channie. I'm almost done with high school, and adult life is scaring me a lot. I don't even have a job. How am I supposed to help him with anything? What if we get into a lot of fights and break up?"

"Oh Jeongin, it'll be okay," I pat him on the shoulder, looking him in the eyes. "Adult life is terrifying, but if Changbin can do it, so can you."

He giggles at my insulting statement.

"I will personally help you find a job. Any of the us would gladly help you find a job. I know working is important to you. And as for your relationship, you're going to be okay. Fights are normal, even though it seems like the end of the world. If you're that afraid, you should talk to hyung. He'll gladly reassure you. Look at Jisung and I. We haven't had the nicest things to say to each other over the past couple of months, but we're good now. It will always work out in the end, I promise."

He nods. "Thank you. I really needed to hear that. You're always so helpful, hyung. I really appreciate you. You really are incredible."

"Of course. You know I'll always be here. Now, take one of these while you have the chance."
