Third Person POV

After receiving the warning from Wen Ning and gathering his thoughts, Wei Wuxian found himself in the lively town of Caiyi.

Blending in with the crowd, he concealed his true appearance using a morphing talisman, ensuring that he could navigate the streets without drawing unwanted attention from those who knew him.

The bustling atmosphere of the town provided a much-needed distraction, momentarily easing the weight on Wuxian's shoulders.

It was essential for Wuxian to conceal his true identity until he could ensure the safety of the remaining Wens.

His heart ached at the thought of his family's well-being and he hoped that Wen Ning had diligently carried out his assigned task, doing everything possible to avoid any mishaps.

As Wuxian walked through the streets of Caiyi, he observed the vibrant colors and lively chatter that filled the air.

Merchants displayed their wares, enticing passersby with tantalizing scents and intricate crafts.

As Wuxian walked through the vibrant streets, his eyes instinctively landed on a family of white-clothed individuals. It was Lan Wangji, accompanied by his disciples.

For a moment, Wuxian's heart skipped a beat, feeling a mixture of longing and pain at the sight of the man he loved.

Knowing that he couldn't risk a confrontation, he quickly adjusted his course, skillfully disappearing into the throngs of people.

Wuxian ventured further into the town, his steps guided by a careful balance of caution and determination.

The scent of freshly cooked street food filled the air, mingling with the sound of lively chatter and the bustle of commerce.

His eyes couldn't help but light up with delight as he stumbled upon a stall selling jars of Emperor's Smile.

Wuxian halted in front of the stall, his excitement palpable. His fingers traced the smooth surface of the jars, his eyes gleaming with anticipation.

Without second thought, he grabbed two jars, his mouth watering at the thought of the delectable treat within.

Gently placing the jars in a small bag, he paid the vendor, a look of pure contentment and anticipation on his face.

Resuming his journey, Wuxian opened one of the jars and took a sip of the delightful elixir, a smile gracing his lips.

As he savored the sweet taste of Emperor's Smile, he glanced around, taking note of the bustling streets.

His mind shifted to the task at hand – gathering supplies for the Wens' new home.

With determination renewed, Wuxian searched through the busy market stalls, carefully selecting the items he knew would be needed.

Once he had acquired all the necessary supplies, Wuxian made the decision to leave Caiyi and head to Ling-chen.

Upon arriving in Ling-chen, Wuxian's eyes quickly scanned the entrance, searching for the figures he had longed to see.

And there they were, standing before him - his uncle Xingchen and Song Lan. A bittersweet mix of emotions welled up within him at the sight of familiar faces.

A smile tugged at the corners of Wuxian's lips as he approached them, joining their presence with a mixture of joy and gratitude.

"Xingchen, Song Lan," he greeted warmly, his voice filled with genuine affection.

Xingchen's gentle smile softened his features as he embraced Wuxian. "A-xian, it's good to see you. We've missed you," he said, his voice filled with genuine warmth.
