Days passed, and Y/n found herself in the front office, standing before the large bulletin board where the various clubs of Royale High advertised their activities. Each student was required to join at least one club, and Y/n wanted to find one that suited her interests and would help her feel more connected to the school community.

The board was a riot of color and creativity, each poster more eye-catching than the last. Y/n scanned the options, taking in the variety of clubs available:

1. Enchanted Gardening Club: A poster featuring vibrant flowers and magical plants caught her eye. Members of this club cultivated magical flora, learning about their unique properties and uses in potion-making and spellcraft.

2. Potionology Club: Despite her struggles with the subject, the Potionology Club offered extra practice sessions and hands-on experiments. The poster boasted about their recent successes and upcoming potion-making competitions.

3. Aerial Dance Troupe: Illustrated with students gracefully soaring through the air, this club combined dance and flight. It promised to teach members the art of aerial choreography, a mesmerizing blend of magic and movement.

4. Spellcraft and Sorcery Society: This club focused on advanced spellcasting techniques and magical theory. The poster depicted students casting intricate spells, surrounded by glowing runes and magical symbols.

5. Magical Creatures Club: With a poster adorned with fantastical beasts, this club was dedicated to the study and care of magical creatures. Members would get hands-on experience with everything from tiny pixies to majestic unicorns.

6. Royal Debate Club: For those interested in honing their public speaking and argumentation skills, the Royal Debate Club held regular debates on various magical and non-magical topics. The poster promised lively discussions and the opportunity to compete in inter-school tournaments.

7. Alchemy Guild: Focused on the ancient art of alchemy, this club combined science and magic to transform materials and create new substances. The poster featured images of alchemists at work, surrounded by glowing vials and intricate diagrams.

Y/n pondered each option, considering what would best suit her interests and strengths. She wanted to choose a club where she could learn, grow, and maybe even make some new friends. As she read through the descriptions, her thoughts were interrupted by a familiar voice.

"Looking for a club to join?" It was Poppy, the cheerful girl from the front office with the long pink hair. She had a bright smile on her face as she approached Y/n.

"Yeah," Y/n replied, smiling back. "There are so many options, it's hard to choose."

Poppy nodded enthusiastically. "I know! I had the same problem when I first started. But remember, it's all about what interests you the most and where you think you'll have the most fun."

Y/n decided on the Enchanted Gardening Club. The idea of working with magical plants and learning about their unique properties intrigued her. With a sense of excitement and a bit of nervousness, she made her way to the West Campus, where the club held its weekly meetings.

The West Campus gardens were a lush, vibrant oasis filled with a variety of magical plants. The air was fragrant with the scent of blooming flowers and herbs, and Y/n felt a sense of calm wash over her as she walked through the garden paths. She soon arrived at the meeting spot, a large, beautifully decorated gazebo surrounded by colorful flowers and vines that seemed to pulse with their own magical energy.

Standing in the gazebo was a girl with light brown hair and sparkling green eyes. She wore a fashionable Y2K-inspired blue outfit that stood out against the greenery. Her presence was magnetic, and Y/n could tell right away that this girl was full of energy and charisma.

"Hey there! You must be Y/n," the girl called out with a warm smile, waving her over. "I'm Linzi, the president of the Enchanted Gardening Club. Welcome!"

Y/n smiled back, feeling immediately at ease. "Hi, Linzi. Yes, I'm Y/n. I heard a lot of great things about this club and thought it would be a perfect fit."

Linzi beamed, her green eyes twinkling with excitement. "We're thrilled to have you! Let me give you a quick tour and introduce you to some of the magical plants we take care of here. Trust me, you're going to love it."

As they walked through the gardens, Linzi pointed out various plants, each with its own unique properties and magical abilities. There were glowing Moonflowers that only bloomed under the light of the full moon, Whispering Willows that could convey messages through their rustling leaves, and Fireblossoms that emitted a gentle warmth and soft glow.

"We have a great group of members who are all passionate about magical botany," Linzi explained as they walked. "And we love experimenting with new plant combinations and discovering their magical potential. Plus, we have a lot of fun along the way."

Y/n could see why the club was so popular. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, and Linzi's enthusiasm was contagious. They returned to the gazebo, where a few other club members had gathered, chatting and tending to the plants.

"Everyone, this is Y/n," Linzi announced. "She's our newest member, and I know she's going to fit right in."

The club members greeted Y/n warmly, making her feel even more welcome. Linzi handed her a pair of gardening gloves and a small trowel, signaling that it was time to get to work.

As Y/n joined the others in tending to the plants, she felt a sense of belonging and purpose. The worries and uncertainties of her first days at Royale High seemed to fade away, replaced by the joy of working with her hands and the camaraderie of her new friends.

Linzi's laughter rang out as she told a funny story about a mishap with a particularly mischievous plant, and Y/n found herself laughing along, feeling truly happy for the first time since her arrival at the school. She knew that joining the Enchanted Gardening Club was the best decision she could have made, and she looked forward to the many magical adventures that lay ahead.
