Rachael gasped. "My dad would never hit me!"
"But you gotta keep it secrete because if my dad find out I be in big trouble!" Emma says.
Later that day Rachael told the teacher because she didn't know what to do. Remember these girls are 5. The teacher went to a higher authority, the principal. The principal called in Emma's father,Dan, and talked to him with Emma in the room.
"WHAT AM I DOING HERE?!?!" Screamed Dan.
"We are here to talk about the bruise on Emma's face."
"I told you that she hit her face on the wall!"
"Sir you told the teacher that she ran into a wall."
"Uhhh... YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO BE IN MY PERSONAL LIFE. NOW EMMA!"
"I-I didn't mean to."
Dan hit Emma across the face so hard she blacked out. He went to hit her again when Rachael ran in and laid on top of her. He swung and hit Rachael in the face with his ring. She had a giant open cut on her right cheek almost under her eye. Rachael, bleeding everywhere, couldn't even feel the pain. She started to doze off when someone yelled "CALL 911!" And there she went falling asleep on top of her best friend. Dan got to take a ride down to the police station while the girls went to the hospital. Rachael's parents pressed charges against Dan. Dan got sentenced 30 years in a prison without parol. While her father was in prison, Rachel's parents "adopted" her. She lived with them from then on.
