Yn's fists pounded against the door, her desperate cries echoing in the pitch-black room. The darkness was suffocating, an oppressive void that seemed to press against her from every angle. Her knuckles stung, raw from the relentless banging, but she didn’t stop. Tears streamed down her cheeks as she screamed again, her voice hoarse and breaking.

“P_please!” she sobbed, her words dissolving into the silence. “I’m s_sorry! Open the door! ” But no answer came. Her pleas were swallowed by the cold, unfeeling walls. She slid down onto the icy floor, her body trembling from the cold and fear. Wrapping her arms tightly around her knees, she buried her face, her voice barely a whisper now. “P_please... I’m scared...”

She didn’t know how much time had passed. Hours, perhaps. Her cries had turned to quiet sniffles, her energy drained. The floor was like ice beneath her, the chill seeping into her bones. The shadows in the darkness seemed to move, playing tricks on her weary mind, and she curled tighter into herself, desperate for some comfort.

It was well past midnight when Taehyung finally returned home. His tie was loosened, and exhaustion weighed on him like a heavy cloak. He ran a hand through his messy hair as he kicked off his shoes, the long hours at work dulling his usually sharp senses.

Taehyung entered his room after a long, exhausting day, completely forgetting about the person he had locked in the dark room earlier. Without a second thought, he collapsed onto his bed, drifting off to sleep as if nothing was amiss.

Morning sunlight filtered through the curtains, gently waking him from his slumber. As he stretched lazily, a sudden realization struck him like a thunderbolt—he had locked Y/N in the dark room and had completely forgotten about her!

Panic coursed through his veins as he bolted upright. "What have I done?" he whispered, his voice trembling with guilt. Without wasting another second, he rushed to the room, his heart pounding. Fumbling with the keys, he unlocked the door and flung it open.

"Y/N?" he called, his voice echoing in the eerie silence. No response came. He stepped inside, his eyes scanning the dimly lit room until they landed on her small, motionless figure curled up in the corner. Her face was streaked with dried tears, her lips slightly parted as if she had been calling out in vain.

"Y/N!" he cried out, kneeling beside her. Carefully, he reached out to shake her. "Wake up! Please, wake up!"

After a moment of hesitation, he scooped her up in his arms, carrying her bridal style back to his room. Her body felt limp and fragile, igniting a pang of regret in his chest. Gently, he laid her on the bed, his eyes filled with worry as he took in her pale face.

Cursing under his breath, he grabbed a glass of water from the nearby table. He sprinkled droplets over her face, his hands trembling as he did so. "Come on, Y/N, open your eyes," he murmured, his voice laced with desperation.

Slowly, her eyelids fluttered open, revealing her teary, swollen eyes. Relief washed over him as she blinked up at him, her expression filled with a mix of fear and sadness.

The moment , her emotions spilled over. "Y_you’re so bad," she sobbed, her voice stuttering through the tears. "Y_you locked me in there! I h_hate you!"

Unable to hold back her feelings, she threw her arms around him, burying her face in his chest. Her body trembled as she sobbed, and Taehyung froze for a moment.

Her sobs eventually quieted, . For now, all he could do was hold her close .

After Y/N had calmed down, Taehyung gently pulled away from the embrace, his voice soft yet firm. "Go and take a bath. It’ll make you feel better," he said, avoiding her eyes. Without waiting for her response, he turned and left the room, closing the door behind him.

Y/N hesitated for a moment, her mind still replaying the events of the night before. But she knew he was right—she needed a moment to compose herself. Dragging her weary body, she made her way to the bathroom. The warm water cascading over her felt soothing, washing away the remnants of dried tears and the fear that had clung to her all night.

However, as the steam cleared, a new worry surfaced—she had no clean clothes to change into. The outfit she had been wearing was crumpled and dirty, hardly suitable to put back on. Panic set in as she glanced around the bathroom, hoping for a miracle. None came. Left with no choice, she wrapped a towel tightly around her body, making sure it covered her securely, and stepped out of the bathroom.

The moment her foot crossed the threshold, her heart nearly jumped out of her chest. Standing there, as if he owned the world, was Taehyung, just stepping back into the room. His eyes immediately locked onto her, and a playful smirk danced on his lips.

"Well, well," he drawled, taking a step toward her. His teasing tone sent alarm bells ringing in her head.

"D_on’t come near m_me" Y/N muttered under her breath as she instinctively backed toward the bathroom door, clutching the towel tightly.

But Taehyung wasn’t about to let her escape. His long strides closed the distance between them in seconds. Just as she reached for the doorknob, his hand shot out, grabbing her wrist and spinning her around. Her back hit the wall softly, and before she could react, he had her pinned.

Y/N’s breath hitched as Taehyung loomed over her. Water droplets from her hair trickled down her face and neck, glistening in the sunlight filtering through the window. Her lips quivered, and without realizing it, she bit her lower lip in nervousness.

Taehyung’s gaze darkened as his breath fanned against her face. Leaning in, he whispered, his voice husky and teasing, "Trying to seduce me, little bird?"

Her heartbeat quickened, pounding like a drum in her chest. She shivered when his lips brushed against her ear, his teeth nipping playfully. The sensation sent a jolt down her spine, leaving her speechless.

He chuckled lowly, enjoying her flustered state. "You’re too easy to tease," he murmured, placing a soft, fleeting kiss on her neck. Y/N gasped, her skin tingling where his lips had been.

Desperation took over as she summoned all her courage. "P-please stop," she stammered, her voice barely a whisper as tears welled up in her eyes.

The sight of her tears immediately sobered Taehyung. His grip on her loosened, and he stepped back, running a hand through his hair. Without meeting her gaze, he walked to his wardrobe and pulled out a hoodie and a pair of shorts. Turning back to her, he tossed them onto the bed.

"Here," he said curtly, his tone void of the teasing lilt from earlier. "Wear these for now. Your clothes will arrive tomorrow."

Y/N clutched the towel tighter, nodding silently as she wiped the stray tears from her cheeks.

Taehyung glanced at her one last time before heading toward the door. "Once you’re ready, come downstairs. Breakfast is waiting," he said, his voice softer this time. Without another word, he left the room, leaving Y/N standing there, her emotions a whirlwind of confusion and relief.
