Morning sunlight streamed through my bedroom window, casting a warm glow on my pastel walls. I stirred awake, blinking against the light, and stretched out my small arms. The clock on my nightstand read 7:00 AM, and I knew it was time to start another day.

"Good morning, Jungkook," I whispered, smiling.

"Good morning, Y/n," Jungkook's voice replied, cheerful and bright as always.

I hopped out of bed and went about my morning routine, brushing my teeth and washing my face. Jungkook was there, his presence making even the mundane tasks feel special. I imagined him humming a tune, encouraging me to hurry up so we could get to the fun part of the day.

Downstairs, the smell of pancakes greeted me. My mother was at the stove, flipping golden brown pancakes onto a plate. She smiled as I entered the kitchen.

"Good morning, sweetie. Did you sleep well?" she asked, her eyes twinkling with warmth.

"Yes, Mom. Jungkook and I had a great night's sleep," I said, climbing onto a chair at the table.

She chuckled softly and placed a plate of pancakes in front of me. "I'm glad to hear that. Now eat up, you've got a busy day ahead."

As I ate, I imagined Jungkook sitting next to me, pouring syrup over his own imaginary stack of pancakes. We chatted about our plans for the day—playing outside, reading our favorite books, and maybe even building a new fort.

After breakfast, I grabbed my backpack and headed out the door, ready for school. The walk to the bus stop was short, and I felt Jungkook's comforting presence beside me the entire way.

At school, the day unfolded like any other. We started with morning announcements, then moved on to math, my least favorite subject. I struggled with the numbers, but imagining Jungkook sitting next to me, offering silent support, made it a little easier.

"You can do it, Y/n," his voice encouraged as I scribbled answers in my notebook.

During recess, I joined my friends on the playground. We played tag, ran around, and climbed the jungle gym. Even in the midst of the chaos, Jungkook was there, laughing and playing alongside us.

"Watch out, Y/n! I'm going to tag you!" I heard Jungkook's playful warning in my mind, and I ran faster, giggling.

Back in the classroom, we spent the afternoon doing art projects. I loved drawing and painting, and today we were making pictures of our favorite places. I drew a picture of the park, with me and Jungkook playing on the swings.

"That's beautiful, Y/n," Jungkook's voice said as I added the finishing touches.

"Thanks, Jungkook. It's our special place," I whispered back, smiling.

After school, I walked home, eager to continue our adventures. I did my homework quickly, with Jungkook offering moral support, then raced outside to play. The backyard was our kingdom, full of hidden treasures and secret paths. We played hide and seek, explored imaginary worlds, and invented new games until the sun began to set.

"Y/n, dinner's ready!" my mother called from the kitchen.

"Coming, Mom!" I shouted back, feeling the day's excitement still buzzing within me.

Dinner was a cozy affair, with my parents asking about my day and me sharing the highlights, including all the fun I had with Jungkook. They smiled and nodded, indulging my stories as always.

That night, after brushing my teeth and putting on my pajamas, I crawled into bed, feeling content. I looked at the ceiling, where the glow-in-the-dark stars sparkled faintly.

"Goodnight, Jungkook," I said softly.

"Goodnight, Y/n," his voice replied, soothing and familiar.

As I drifted off to sleep, I felt a deep sense of comfort and happiness. Jungkook was my constant companion, turning ordinary days into extraordinary adventures. With him by my side, every moment felt special, and I knew that no matter what, I was never truly alone.

The house was quiet, the only sound the soft hum of the air conditioner and the occasional creak of the floorboards. The moonlight streamed through my bedroom window, casting a pale glow across the room. I was deep in a dream, running through a dark forest, my heart pounding in my chest.

In the dream, shadows stretched and twisted, looming over me. I was lost and scared, calling out for help, but no one answered. Suddenly, I tripped and fell, the shadows closing in around me. I screamed, a sound that pierced the night and jolted me awake.

I sat up in bed, my heart racing, my breath coming in quick gasps. The nightmare clung to me, the fear lingering even though I was now safe in my room. I glanced around, my eyes adjusting to the dim light.

"Jungkook?" I whispered, my voice trembling.

"I'm here, Y/n," came Jungkook's soothing voice, immediately calming some of my fear.

I felt a gentle, comforting presence beside me, as if Jungkook were sitting on the edge of my bed. "I had a nightmare," I said, my voice shaky.

"I know. But it was just a dream. You're safe now," he reassured me.

I took a deep breath, trying to steady myself. "It felt so real. I was so scared."

"Nightmares can be like that," Jungkook said softly. "But they can't hurt you. You're safe here, in your room, with me."

His words were like a balm, easing the tension in my body. "Will you stay with me until I fall asleep again?" I asked, looking towards the space where I imagined him.

"Of course, Y/n. I'm not going anywhere," Jungkook promised, his voice filled with warmth and comfort.

I lay back down, pulling the blankets up to my chin. I closed my eyes, focusing on Jungkook's presence. He began to tell me a story, his voice gentle and melodic, weaving a tale of adventure and bravery.

"Once upon a time," he began, "there was a young knight who lived in a beautiful kingdom. The knight was known for their courage and kindness, always ready to help those in need..."

As he continued, I felt myself relax, the fear from the nightmare fading away. I imagined the knight, strong and brave, facing challenges and overcoming them, just like Jungkook said I could.

"And every night, the knight would return home, safe and sound, knowing they had done their best," Jungkook concluded. "Just like you, Y/n. You're brave, and you can face anything."

"Thank you, Jungkook," I murmured, feeling sleep begin to creep back in.

"Anytime, Y/n. Sweet dreams," he whispered.

With Jungkook's comforting presence beside me, I finally drifted off to sleep, the remnants of the nightmare melting away. In my dreams, the dark forest was replaced by a bright, sunny meadow where Jungkook and I played, safe and happy.

I woke the next morning feeling refreshed, the memory of the nightmare distant and unimportant. Jungkook had been there for me when I needed him most, just as he always was. As I got ready for the day, I couldn't help but feel grateful for my imaginary friend who made even the darkest nights a little brighter.

"Good morning, Jungkook," I said, smiling.

"Good morning, Y/n. Ready for a new day?" he replied, his voice full of enthusiasm.

"Absolutely," I answered, feeling confident and ready to face whatever the day might bring. With Jungkook by my side, I knew I could handle anything.
