"Such a cute Rabbit you are...let me see do your check-up," I say lightly holding his hand and examining his heartbeat

There is a little girl looking at her bunny with tensed facial expressions "He is not jumping anywhere, very silent these days" She makes a sad face "Will my puddle be alright?

Aww

I Pat her cheek affectionately "Don't worry sweety your puddle will be fine, I promise"

The bunny is  indeed sick I got to know from the check up. I look at the girl and her mother "No need to worry about Sweetheart, Your Puddle is just a little sick, just keep him warm and encourage him to eat, Now I am injecting him with medicine so that he has energy...in few days he is would be jumping again"

She beams "Really Doctor"

"Yup really"

After I was done with the Rabbit treatment, I gave a chocolate to the girl and smiling she went with her puddle, Her mother said thank you to me.

I was sitting on my Chair when I called Pranjal "Hello Pranjal"

"Yeah," She said

"Busy hai Kya? (Are you Busy?)"

"A little Say"

"It's a little drizzling outside, Let's go for a cup of Tea"

"Umm You go, I will join you in 5-10 minutes"

I look at my watch "Okay, But you better be there"

"Yes Baba I will be there"

I cut the call and left my cabin informing the receptionist about my unavailability for some time.

I stride to the Tea stall and ask for one tea. I sit on a stool and wait for Pranjal.

I look across the road and it is raining a little more. Monsoons are nice but not the muddy roads.

Cars are driving at high speed when my eyes fall on a puppy in the middle of the road, Scared, Trying to cross the road, Confused.

One just when from his side.

I got up and tried to cross the two-way road, Cars moving at speed.

I am drenching in rain a little and the puppy is slipping on the road. Baby, please hold on I am coming...Bastards stop the cars! Drive slow.

I take a step forward and A bike goes at speed in front of me "Chu***" I roar and pause again to cross the road.

Then I saw A man footing out of his car and I darted at the road, a car coming at speed, Blowing the horn at the puppy.

I cross the road when there is a jam on my side of the road, When I reach there, The man is showing hands to the car and proceeding forward towards the puppy, I look at the speeding cars moving towards him.

My heart is ascending in fear for the puppy and the man, I look at the cars and then at them. I gulp, I dab my face and one car is coming very close to the puppy, I shut my eyes tightly "Nooo"

Please god no, Keep them safe!

My breathing is rapid and I peek at the road. A car halted and the man clasped the puppy in his arms and was lying on the ground.

He gets up quickly and surges towards my side, I quickly rush towards him.

The puppy is wailing and I hear the Man's voice "It's alright you are safe now" He hugs the puppy

I examine his hand "You are bleeding"

"So is the Puppy," He spoke out and I looked up at his face.

Oh...My heart Flipped !!!!
