KANAV'S POV
Is it Yash's sister Ahana? I frown and then I hear "Hello Dr.Kanav"
I snap my gaze at the door and she is Yash's sister only, I smile at her "Hi Ahana...please have a seat"
She came up in front of me with slow steps and sat in front of me.
"how come you needed an appointment to meet me ? You could have told me your problem at home" I said and she smiled
"I...it felt not right that even after hospital you do the duty of being an doctor after working hours as well"
"That's really thoughtful of you but you are Yash's sister and he will kill me if he will get to know that you had to take appointment for me" I chuckled
"Dr.Kanav please dont tell this to bhai, infact no one...actually I dont want to see anyone stressed for me and I didn't came at your place because Bhawna would have told bhai being concern sooo....I request you. I have no issues in getting treated from you at your hospital" she said fiddling with her finger's
I nod understanding her but not yet getting convinced "okay but whenever you need to meet me, tell the receptionist to call me, I will take time for you first"
She began to bite her lower lip and shook her head looking down, in agreement.
"Umm so let's see what problem you are going through" I read her appointment paper "terrible headache"
I look at her "so tell me Ahana, how often do you get these terrible headaches"
She looks up and lick her lips "umm I get them.....very often...So often that yesterday I got one"
I nod "just a minute" I give a call to the peon "Hello Dr.Kanav speaking can you please bring 2 cup of coffee...wait" I cover the phone "You drink coffee or tea?"
"hunh? well anything"
"is coffee fine?"
she shook her head "No...Tea will be fine"
I smile
"okay" I speak to the peon again "yeah 2 cup of Tea and some snacks in my cabin please"
"ji doctor"
I smile and cut the call "sorry let's get back to you...so do you have headache only at one side of your head or both?"
I loosen up the tie on my neck while speaking.
She mumbled something which I couldn't hear !
(she said So hot btw)
"Sorry?" I ask
She shifts in her seat and smile a little and began to think "nothing umm...sometimessss both side and sometimes one side, Sometimes...Yeah"
I write it down "you require pills to calm it down? does it last long?"
"no, tea helps me very best" She show me a thumbs up and my chuckle
"hmm" I press my lips together "at what time do you sleep?"
She close her eyes "well...by 2 am"
"everyday?"
"almost"
"and do you watch mobile screen or TV ?"
She tuck her hair back "yeah...I watch laptop, TV and Mobile" She count it on her finger's
"does your eyes strain in the morning?" I ask
"haan sometimes they are watery"
I nod "hmm" I close my pen and keep my hands on table "Ahana"
A knock on the door disturbs me to continue further "come in"
The peon came and placed the tea and snacks on the table, Ahana grins "I love this snacks that you bhaiya"
The peon smiles politely at her and left.
She starts eating the snacks, I control my chuckle, she is a foodie like Yash !
"So Ahana will you keep your concentration on food or me as well?" I ask and she looks at me "what?" She asks in shock
What did I say "oh...shit sorry, I mean my words" This is embarrassing
She sigh and sip tea without looking and me and even I sip on tea without meeting my gaze with her.
After the pause I say "So I was saying that you need to reduce your screen time and not to use phone before sleeping. This can be the reason for your headache and it is also making you feel tired. So after one week you have to come back and let me know if you are still facing this problem but you have to do as I have said...I am very strict when it comes to my patients"
She nods "I will be your good patient dr.Kanav"she said sweetly which made me to smile. She is cute !
"also you need to spent time in nature....you need to have some fresh air"
"In Delhi...fresh air Dr.Kanav?" She laughed and I chuckle as well
"I know but being at a place of trees where you can smell the fragrance of flowers, I think it is a little better than nothing" I shrug sipping the tea
She nods "I will do that Dr.Kanav"
"Have you seen the Garden near by? It have a lot of unique plants and flowers...You can go there, I went their recently, I really loved it"
She Rub the corner of her lips with a tissue "Sure I will see the Garden some day if I will get free from my work...I have a lot of pending work to do"
"hmm, Hey how is Shiny, I met him on the wedding"
She grins "He is great ! but he hops a lot"
I chuckle "by the way you sing really well and it's rare to see a girl playing guitar...couldn't compliment you back then"
She's smiles presssing her lips together as if blushing "Thank you" She said in low voice looking down....She is definetly blushing but I don't point it out.
We finish our tea and Snacks and the nurse came in "Dr.Kanav patients are asking when will their turn come?"
"Just 5 minutes" I said and she went out
I look at Ahana and She says "Thank you for the snacks Dr.Kanav, it was nice talking to you...will meet some other time" She got up and so did I.
I walk up to her "It was nice meeting you as well Ahana...but not much screen time okay?" I put forward my hand for a handshake
She held my hand grinning "Okay" I open the door for her "Bye Ahana"
"Bye Dr.Kanav"
She was about to leave "Ek Min" I said and she frown's
I go to my table and bring chocolate for her, which I usually give to the patients who are kids but she is no less than one.
"Here and be a good patient okay" I smile at her
She giggles "Thank you for this" She said in low voice looking at the chocolate.
Then she left sparing a glance at me.
I get back on my seat and get the table cleaned and call the next patient.
