6.Old Love

Kanav's POV

I dump the gloves in the dustbin changing my clothes, I rest for a while in my Cabin.

Aahh My head is throbbing with pain due to less sleep, Exhaustion and also got drenched on the way while saving a puppy and now my body is reacting to it.

I need rest, Terrible rest. I can't drive also...I press my head on the table....what should I do???

I call Devesh and request him if he can drop me home, I am not feeling well.

He said is coming in few minutes and I go home along with him and Sleep for entire day like a log.

"Kanav Beta...Wake up, Eat Dinner then you can sleep" Mom runs her hand on my hair.

"No Mom" I mumble

"Kanav, You will get sick beta also you just ate one chapati before taking a medicine so that you don't get fever, Listen to your mother please eat food...See I brought it here"

I slowly lean myself on the bedrest and still eyes closed she makes me eat food with her hands.

"At least open your eyes"

"No Mom, it better like this"

I chew my food and slowly open my eyes and she feeding me so lovingly.

I get a little emotional and close my eyes, this Affection and Love from her always does that to me. I love Mom soooo much, Ofcourse I love Dad also, Both of them are best ❤️

I open my eyes again when I finish the food and she looks at my hand "What happened to your hand?"

I drink water before answering "I saved a puppy from getting crashed by cars in the mid Way"

"Why do my children have to be the saviour all the time"

I smile a bit

"Was no one else there? Did you only bandage yourself or someone even asked you?"

I Lick my lips "Yes there was one girl, Maybe even she wanted to save the puppy and she also said to first aid my wound but I denied as I was getting late and my mind was over the patient to save"

"God Bless that girl at least she asked you or else you don't even look after yourself sometimes"

I hold her hands and kiss "You are there na to look after me"

"But for how long? When I will get old then I wouldn't be able to look after you"

I Grin "so what do you want me to do? Find a girlfriend?"

She giggle "If She is a little bit like Bhawna, Who will love my son then Yes"

"Bhawna is no sweet Mom, She shouts on Bhai"

"And she should! She have the right because stupid people don't listen when sweet"

"Oh so that's why you are strict to Dad? You both had Arranged Marriage right?"

She looks down and blush "Yes but I saw him Before and instantly liked him"

"When?"

"Do you know, You and Aryan have traits of your father?"

I raise my brows "Really?"

She nods "Yeah, Always ready to help others! When I first saw him....He rescued a Man who was getting burnt in the middle of the road, I was there witnessing everything. He with his intelligence brought a shawl from his car and moved forward wrapping the man in it and then shouted on people to throw water on the man. Then your Father took the injured to the hospital and do you know....I followed him, I found him doing the payments for the man. He wasn't only good looking but good looking from heart as well and when his family proposal came to me, I didn't knew that it will be him. I got so lucky !"
