Chapter 55

A few hours later,

Jungkook was sleeping on his bed while Taehyung was carrying his baby girl and walking around the room. Jungkook had given birth two hours before and that was the most painful Taehyung had watched, he couldn't watch his love being in so much and yet not be able to do anything about it. He made a promise to himself that he will not make Jungkook pregnant, no matter what, he can't bear to see Jungkook like that again.

He was walking with his baby girl back and forth in the room while his love and daughter were sleeping. He kept glancing at Jungkook in between, in case the latter woke up or if anything happened. He was smiling while looking at the little creature in his hands.

There was a soft knock on the door and then the door opened. Taehyung looked up and saw Namjoon and Lisa. He nodded at them as if telling them to come in. The two smiled and closed the doo slowly as they walked inside and walked to Taehyung.

"How is he?" Namjoon whispered.

"He is fine. He was exhausted after everything, and I don't have the heart to leave him alone. What if he needs something and I am not there" Taehyung whispered back as he glanced at the sleeping Jungkook who was wearing Taehyung's clothes and sleeping peacefully.

"How is she?" Lisa asked.

"She is good. Healthy and mixed breed according to the doctor" 

"So far she looks like a human" Namjoon said while looking at her. Taehyung nodded.

"What is her name?" Lisa asked. She looked at Taehyung.

"We will tell later" the two nodded.

Suddenly, they heard a groan from Jungkook's side. The three looked at Jungkook and saw him opening his eyes. Taehyung was the first one to go by his side with their daughter. He carefully kept their daughter on the bed and secured her with the pillows as he helped Jungkook sit and drink water.

"Can I hold her?" Jungkook asked in a small voice. His throat hurts from all the screaming he did.

"Of course! You don't have to ask for that!" Taehyung happily handed their daughter to Jungkook unaware of what he just made Jungkook feel.

Jungkook smiled with teary eyes and held their daughter in his hand. He cradled her and pecked her head. Lisa and Namjoon left from there to give the couple some time with their new born daughter.

Taehyung patted Jungkook's head which made the latter look at him.

"I am so proud of you" He pecked his head "You did so good, baby" Jungkook bursted out crying. Taehyung panicked and pulled him a in hug, carefully not to hurt their daughter.

"Thank you!" Jungkook cried harder.

Taehyung frowned "For what?"

"For telling me that you are proud of me. For letting me hold our baby when I asked you to" the frown on Taehyung's face just got deeper.

"Why wouldn't I? She is your baby too, Kookie, she is yours as much as she is mine" Taehyung patted his back.

"Then why didn't they let me hold my baby?! I couldn't hold my baby even for once! Not even once!!" Jungkook sobbed harder which made Taehyung frown harder.

The door opened and Jin entered.

"We need some time alone, hyung" 

"Okay" Jin left from the door.
