Your Pov 

School has always been stressful, but recently it seems even worse. I don't know what I would have done without Ashton. We have been best friends for years and I kinda have a crush on him but I can't tell him. He has helped so much and it would be heartbreaking to find out he doesn't share my feelings. 

Ashton invited me to his house today to hang out and I was kinda hoping to confess today. I opened the door when I got there and realized it was quiet.

"One second Y/n," Ashton called from upstairs. "I just have to grab my phone."

"Ok," I say walking around downstairs. We have been friends for long enough now that it was normal to walk into each other's houses without knocking. I was looking at the new pictures his mom took before I heard him walk downstairs. 

"Hey," he said smiling at me.

"Hey," I said back with a smile, "what are we doing today?"

"I was hoping you would want to watch a movie," he said looking down.

"Sounds like fun," I say with a small laugh.

We both sit down on the couch and I wait for him to turn on the movie. (What's everyone's favorite movie?) He sat back on the couch and I could feel him moving closer to me. I was literally screaming on the inside as he draped his arm across my shoulders. I leaned more into him and curled up a little.

*Time Skip to a few movies later*

We have watched a few movies at this point and we were full-on cuddling now. I was blushing so much and I was so glad that it was dark. 

"I think my family will be home soon," he said breaking me out of my thoughts. 

"Oh," I said with a pout looking up at him.

And just like he said, the door opens and the rest of his family comes inside. From what I heard they had to film a video. 

"Ashton, where are you?" we hear his dad call out.

"In here dad," Ashton calls back out and his dad walks in.

"Oh, hey there Y/n," he smirked seeing us still cuddled together.

"Hey, Mr. Myler," I said shyly.

"You guys look like you had a good time today," he said smiling at Ashton.

We both nod. 

"Be glad I was the one that found you because if it was your mom you would never hear the end of it," his dad said smiling.

I blush and try to hide my face. Ashton just laughed and pulled my head to his chest. I could hear his heartbeat and it was beating so fast. His dad left with a laugh and he pulled my head away.

"We are done for if Payton finds out," Ashton said with an airy laugh. 

"I guess so," I said smiling up at him. "Also can we talk about why your heart is beating so fast?"

"Oh, yeah about that..." he said shyly looking away, "I kinda have a crush on you and you were making me nervous with how close you were to me."

"Glad my feelings are returned," I said looking at his face.
