Kuro slowly opened his eyes. He didn't know how much time had passed since he passed out for some reason. Trying to stand up, Kuro found himself standing on all fours instead of just two legs. The sounds of the fighting had stopped and Kuro sighed. Had that man killed the dragon or was it the other way around. Judging by what he'd heard, Kuro was going with the latter. A sudden breeze of hot air blew down his neck and made him freeze. Slowly turning his head, Kuro found himself nose to nose with the black scaled dragon from before. With a small shriek, Kuro jumped back. The dragon stepped forward and dropped a piece of meat in front of him. Kuro could smell the man's scent all over it; but instead of being appalled and wanting to throw up, Kuro found himself starting to drool. Snapping himself out of his little hunger trance, he switched his gaze to the black dragon in front of him. Yomi had said that his father was going to be here, did he really mean the dragon?! The large black dragon was looking at him fondly and nudged the meat towards him.

"You really should eat, Kuro."

Kuro looked at the dragon curiously. He wasn't afraid of him, but rather, he was feeling a sense of love. Was this dragon really his father? The dragon nudged the meat towards him again, and this time Kuro complied. The chunk of meat was wolfed down in a mere matter of seconds and a small grin was on Kuro muzzle. The meat did taste good, now he felt his whole body becoming tired. Forgetting that he wasn't even a quarter of its size, Kuro walked up to the dragon and curled up against its front legs. Closing his eyes, he slowly drifted off to sleep.

Hades smiled as his son curled up against his leg. It had been a long time since he'd last seen him. Kurona was smart to have placed Kuro under a powerful transformation spell to make him look human. Hades had feared he'd lost both of his loved ones in one night. He'd been in a state of depression for a few years, but the smell of Kuro's blood had snapped him out of it. The scent of his son's blood had filled him joy, but also threw him into a dark rage at the thought of someone hurting Kuro. Bending down, Hades picked Kuro up by the scruff of his neck and began walking back towards his cave. After a few minutes of walking, Hades entered his cave. Upon entering, he walked to the back and gently set Kuro down in a nest of of leaves and laid down beside him. Hades gave his son a loving nuzzle of the head before he to closed his eyes to sleep. The next morning, Hades opened his eyes when he felt something licking the wound that he'd gotten from the adamant bullet that the Dragon Hunter had shot him with. The bullet had missed hitting his head, but it left an annoying wound just above his eye. A small form dropped off his head and landed beside him in the nest.

"Is that better? Does it hurt anymore?"

Hades lifted his head and looked down at Kuro.

"That feels much better, Kuro. Thank you."

Kuro wasn't looking him in the eye. He was fidgeting and he looked nervous about something. Hades also noticed the Kuro had yet to call him 'Dad' or 'Father' yet, and Hades could tell it was because he wasn't sure if he was with his real father or not.

"Kuro, I truly am your father. I was there the day you hatched out of your egg, I remember the pride I felt when you called me 'Daddy'. Kuro, I am your father and you are my son." Hades said gently.

"I don't remember much about that. I can barely recall two figure that took care of me. And I also remember something bad."

Hades knew exactly what Kuro meant. An idea crossed his mind.

"Well, I could make it so that you forget that last few years." He suggested.

Kuro immediately shook his head.

"No! I don't want to forget! I want to remember! I need to!" Kuro protested.

Hades sighed. Kuro wasn't acting like a dragon hatchling of his age would, he was still acting like a human.

"Kuro, I'm going to help you remember. This might sting a bit, but it'll fully revert you're mind back to being a baby dragon."

Kuro immediately began backing up. Hades didn't want to hurt his son, but if things kept going the way they did, Kuro's mind would destroy itself. A human mind and a dragon body, two things that were never suppose to mix. Swiftly pinning Kuro down with his paw, Hades gently touched their foreheads together. Energy poured into Kuro's mind like a river. Memories were being forced to the surface and he could feel his mind becoming more and more child-like. Whatever was happening to him, he didn't like it.

"Stop it! I don't like this! I said stop! Dammit, I hate you!" Kuro screamed.

The feeling soon stopped and Kuro felt something wet fall onto his nose.
