Anastasia's pov + texting

It was finally Friday and I only had one class today, and it was with Bia so we walked together, once we took our seats she turned to me, I positioned my body to face her as well and asked, "yes?" She smiled almost devilishly, which then turned into a smirk; "how was Caroline's practice?" I found myself smiling ear to ear even though I didn't mean to. "Caroline scored like five goals last night, I counted. She had her hair in a ponytail, it looked wet- like she'd blow dried it halfway. And her cheeks were all red after practice- because you know it gets hot in that cold ass rink? Yeah so then she noticed that my hair was down!" At that Bia was almost on the floor laughing, I slapped her shoulder making her sit up clutching her stomach, "I think I have a six pack!" She exclaimed a little too loud making a girl with really pretty red hair turn around, I gave her a small smile and wave and turned back to Bia "listen girl, you and Caroline don't know it yet but you have ginormous crushes on each other." Her legs crossed and stuck her hands up in defense, "you officially delusional my girl," "delusional about what?" I swear Bia and I turned at the same time, "hey Caroline!" I said nervously, Bia leaned her body over my laptop and closed it. "How much of that did you hear?" Caroline shrugged; "how much of what?" She giggled, I sighed quietly.
At lunch, Bia and I went back to our dorms to eat, we were talking about staying in for the night, and watching a movie or tv show. "Hey you know I could invite my sister's hockey team," I looked up from my sandwich that didn't stand a chance, "like as in-" Bia cut me off, "Caroline's team. Yes." I chewed up the last of my food and made my way towards the trash can outside and chucked my plate in the trash. "So like we're inviting them over to watch Glee?" I asked twirling with my hair since I washed and straightened it, "yeah, actually I'll call her right now." With that she pulled out her phone and dialed her sister's number, while the phone rang I made some conversation, "what's your sister's name?" I turned to face her, "Florence, she's gorgeous." I smiled at the kind things Bia said about her sister, I started thinking about me and my sister, and how we stuck together our whole lives, "so are you, though." I murmured, she smiled "Anastasia Reid, are you flirting with me? I like it." We laughed together until the line picked up. "Hey, what's up?" I heard a voice from the other line, "hey girl! Me and my roommate, and friend, Anastasia wanted to know if you guys wanted to come over tonight to watch Glee? We were going to binge the first season and then play this like karaoke Glee themed though because we're cool like that." I laughed at Bia's remarks, "oh yeah I can ask them, you guys wanna- yeah we'll be there." We could hear cheering in the background, I laughed along with Bia, "okay well we'll see you at 7:00. Anastasia will be very happy to see Caroline there." I rolled my eyes, "Bia shut up!" We laughed together as Florence hung up.
"Okay so we have like hella food." Bia and I stood at the door outlooking the entire room filled with blankets and pillows. We sat on Bia's bed just scrolling through apps since the tv was already set up and ready, "so like, what's your sexuality? You obviously don't have to tell me, but." I shook my head, "lesbian. What about you?" "Bisexual." I nodded, "best of both worlds," she laughed and put her hand up for me to high five her. After a little while we heard a knock on the door, Bia stuck her arm out towards the door, "lead the way Stassie." I walked to the door and twisted the knob and opened the door, "hey! You're Anastasia, right? I'm Florence." She stuck her free hand out for me to shake which I did, "Bia talks a lot about you, come in." By the time everyone walked in, the whole room was full, Bia clapped her hands together, "yeah so uhm just find a place to lay, uhm you know maybe Caroline and Anastasia could lay by each other I don't know," she mumbled the last part, I whipped my head so fast the air got whiplash. "What?" I said while kicking the back of her knee, making the both of us laugh. There was two places left, and Caroline and I were both still looking, I felt her shuffling over towards me; "do you wanna sit by me?" I looked up at her since she was taller than me and responded, "yeah sure." She grabbed my hand and pulled me down softly on the pink and blue blankets.
An hour later and we were now watching episode six, I counted how times we'd accidentally touched hands while reaching for the chips, just like I did the first time she'd score a goal in practice. Once it hit around 12:30 we decided to head to bed wherever we were laying. Caroline was on the right on me, our arms touching from time to time, some girls had already fallen asleep so it was just Caroline and I left, I felt her familiar, warm tap on my bare shoulder, "yeah?" She smiled at my turning around and looking her in her eyes. "I'm sometimes like a wild sleeper, so I might like end up laying really close beside you, is that okay?" Even though it was dark, Caroline could still see my smile so I grinned to myself, "oh yeah, that's no problem. Good night, Caroline." I whispered and fell asleep rather quickly.
I stirred awake not stretching so I wouldn't accidentally hit Caroline, I turned my head to Bia's digital clock which read '7:00'. I lied down for a bit more until I heard the door open softly and close, Bia saw Caroline and me and started smiling, I rolled my
eyes; "don't start." I whispered, Caroline stirred around a little, "she's on your shoulder! I feel you tao were cuddling," I scoffed, "we were not. She just moves around when she sleeps," I realized I had to use the bathroom, so I held Caroline's head gently and moved it onto the pillow, "I'm going to use the bathroom, be right back" I opened the door and closed it softly. When I got back to my dorm most of the girls were awake and talking amongst themselves, I noticed Caroline was awake and when we locked eyes she motioned for me to come sit back down, she looked so pretty even when she's just woken up, "where'd you go? I was looking for you." She asked, now sitting up and laying her back against my bed frame, "I went to the bathroom. Didn't miss me did too much hopefully," she laughed, I did too but only because I surprised myself by being so bold. Around 8:00 everyone started leaving, I walked Caroline to the door, once we were standing at the door frame we both stopped there. "Before I go, could I maybe get your number?" I turned around to face my phone then stopped and turned back to the wavy haired girl standing in front of me, "yeah of course, I'll give mine to you!" I tiptoed over to my nightstand, but at the rate I was going, Bia would've called it skipping. I quickly made my way back to her and unlocked my phone rather quickly, "yep it is right, here!" She smiled at what I could say was my giddiness, "thank you, Ana. I'll text you later, have a good day guys!" Bia gave a quick wave reminding me of my mom when I'd leave for my grandma's house. When I shut the door I let my back hit the door and let out a loud squeal, Bia turned around from picking up blankets and gasped dramatically, "you are so into her! Lacey and me are like you guys's biggest shippers." I rolled my eyes and started picking up pillows on the right side of our room. "Well she's going to text me later so," I sat on the bed swinging my feet back and forth, "you know I won't leave you alone until you admit it, right?" I scoffed, "okay maybe I think she's really cute," I muttered, Bia shook her head and smirked, "oh shut up."

I sat my phone on my nightstand and turned to face the wall, I then turned back around and grabbed my phone opening it to the message that was a few minutes old. I smiled to myself before closing my eyes and falling asleep.
