"You're very young to be on the run," Micheal smiled at me, then turned his attention towards Ava. He was met by a loud growl, and it was coming from me.

"You asked for me, and here I am. What does Jon want now. We aren't coming back if that's what he is thinking. He's more insane than I had thought." I snapped, feeling my wolf scratching to be let out.

"Tsk, I thought you were shy and quiet." Micheal smiled, and ran a wrinkled hand through his peppered hair. "That's good, that you aren't anymore. I have a plan for you, the both of you actually."

"I'm listening." I growled out. Watching him with stern and careful eyes. I wasn't letting him take Ava away from me, and I wouldn't let him attack her either.

"I've been watching Alpha Jon's pack for a few years now. After your parents died, actually. They were good soldiers, very well trained. Although, they never had a chance to show me you, Iris. You've become a wolf, I can smell it. But, you're only fifteen if I am correct." He pulled out a phone from his suit pocket, and then smiled. "I was wondering if you," his eyes flickered up to Ava. "and Ava, would like to work for us... For me."

Letting out a grunted and very forced laugh, I met his eyes. A smirk was pulling at my lips, and my wolf was beginning to get suspicious.

"You're kidding right? Jon's going to walk in, kill us both and you'll walk away with a wad of cash." I snapped, slamming my fists to the table in front of me.

'I think he's telling us the truth,' Ava said, grabbing my tense fist. 'He hasn't changed in heart beat since he walked in, I could hear it. It's steady, and he's being sincere.'

"What do we have to do?" I said, settling myself down. Sending Ava a 'you better be right' look and agreeing my way through some hell.

Three Years Later

Grunting, I delivered a round house kick to the dummy. Sending a few punches, and an elbow too. Watching as the dummy flopped around, and came back to smack me only to get a fist straight through his chest.

"Good work," A girl called behind me and I turned to see Ava. "A little rough, but would definitely bring some one down."

Hearing Ava'a gentle voice made me turn around and smile. She started talking more, using her voice often but to me only. It was our secret, besides being runaways.

"Thanks, that's what I aim for." I grinned, grabbing a towel off the bench near me. Wiping off some sweat, I looked at Ava. "What brings you in here? You're not a fighter, you're a medic." I jabbed, smiling.

"Micheal wanted me to bring--" Ava started.

"You're not a very good dog, Iris. You're practicing too hard and you're going to get weak quickly." A deep voice said behind Ava, Tal.

"Get the hell out, Tal. The practice room is for me only, I rented it out for the next two hours." I growled, watching as he walked in the practice room further. "Get. Out. Pup." I snapped, my canines lengthening.

"I'm no pup!" Tal yelled, launching himself at me.

Anticipating his leap, I grabbed him by the throat and threw him to the ground. Spinning with him, I landed over his chest. My knee cutting off his oxygen, and my wolf was scratching to get out of this skin. Possibly rip him apart.

"I am stronger than you, better than you and will always dominate you in combat. There will never be any chance of winning when coming at me." I growled, pressing a bit harder into his throat.

"Iris! You're going to hurt him!" Ava screamed, pulling me off of him. I snapped back, surprised at her sudden outburst.

Watching as colour return to Tal's face, and Ava helped him up my thoughts began to swirl. Then it just clicked together, like a rubber band snapping back to it's original place.

"You're together." I said, my stomach twisting.

Ava's hair was a curtain, shielding her face from my view. Prodding in her mind, I just her Tal repeated through her mind. An answer in itself.

"Good! I found you all at one time!" Angel cooed at us, oblivious to what was displaying before me

"What do you want." I snap out, suddenly sour and wishing for a run.

"Micheal wants you in his office. Me, Tal and Iris. He wants to discuss our next mission. I've been craving a good actual one on one lately. This should be good!" Angel said, her voice like chocolate. "Sorry, Ava. Maybe next time."

Watching Angel, I noticed her blond hair was pulled back in a right pony tail. Her usual casual look was business, meaning a women's suit dress. She was actually wearing make up, and she was practically glowing.

At least someone was in a good mood.

"Whatever." I said picked up my bag of clothes including my work out equipment and walked out without saying a word to Ava. Or Tal for that matter.

"What crawled in her ass and died?" I heard Angel whisper before the slam of the gym doors closed me out.

                                                                               ~~~~~~~
Walking to my car felt like a breeze, seeing as it was just outside the gym. My thighs burned with the need to run, and my wolf was howling to get out.
'Sorry girl, boss man wants us. Soon, I promise.' I cooed inside my head, and felt her settle herself in the back of my mind.
Unlocking the car, I threw my stuff into the trunk and slammed it closed. The old Beast was a monster, pure black with black rims. A huge truck, but surprisingly good on gas.
Lifting myself into my truck, I settled myself into the drivers seat. Trying to gather up my shuffles thoughts, I grabbed my old iPod and plugged it into my stereos. Trying to find the loudest song, I heard a soft knock at my passenger side.
Using my mind link, I found it to be Ava. We were still a make shift pack, and it was nice having just the two of us being in our minds.
I unlocked the doors, letting her in. Even though my wolf felt betrayed, and very angry which swirled into my anger, Ava was all I had.
Pulling the Beast door open, I saw Tal standing there with Ava. Both looking down, expect Tal was staring downwards at Ava. His eyes were indescribable. Not in a good way.
"Oh hell no. Seriously?" I said, fed up almost instantly with this. My mood was sour enough, if I had to give Tal a ride I would not be very happy.
"Iris, look..." Ava started, but I cut her off.
"No, you look. We're a pack, Ava. Equals in my book. You seriously never thought to tell me when this started? Give me the thought of sending me a small memo like 'hey, I think I like Tal. Girl talk tonight, Okay? We've been there for each other for a long damn time, and this," I pointed towards Tal and Ava, "What a big fucked up thing that you had done to me.. I need time to think." I slammed my shifter into drive, and pulling into the traffic.
