the last bell rang for the ending class. students sighed of relief and others excitement as everyone started packing up their bags

"stupid science project is gonna kill me" stan whined as craig just wacked his head "ow!" he groaned as he ruffled his hair "that's what you get for not paying attention" craig teased

"wait do we have practice today?" stan asked as he and craig started walking out of the classroom. craig hummed as he interlocked his hand with stan's . stan slightly burned up red for a moment as he held craig's hand back "shit i think we do since our game is this friday"

"it's wednesday right?" stan questioned as he took his phone out of his pocket with his free hand "yeah" craig answered as his expression fell back to his normal stoic face as they made it to their lockers. stan let go of his hand and opened up his own locked taking out his english book to take home along with his science one to finish his assignments

"you taking english and science?" craig questioned as stan nodded "i guess i'll take math and history then"

"you guys studying together later?" clyde questioned as he joined in along with the others

"yeah were planning on heading over to the library or a cafe after practice to start on our projects" stan said while craig closed his locked "shit i forgot we had practice today" clyde whined "can i join you guys later?" clyde pleaded as craig laughed

"hey how about we have a study session together?" tolkien smiled as he added into the conversation. "sure iont see why not" craig said as he took stan's hand "let's meet up at craig's place later tonight then" stan smiled

"can i join to?" kenny asked, craig stared at him for a moment before saying yes

"alright anyone else coming?" craig said rolling his eyes

"i guess not" stan laughed

kyle, wendy, bebe, tweek and cartman just walked passed them without saying anything. stan stared at them before rolling his eyes as craig wasn't amused at all

"alright we'll see you guys at practice in 30, me and stan are gonna head out for a bite" craig walked off dragging stan with him as they left the school and headed towards craig's car.

craig rushed over to the passenger side and opened up the door for stan. he rolled his eyes as he laughed before getting into the car. they both laughed warmly together as craig hovered over him leaning on the door. "you're so stupid" stan teased "to bad, there's more to come"

"oh yeah? i can't wait to see" stan smiled "oh course. i said id show you didn't i? i wouldn't lie to you marsh"

stan fell quiet as he smiled stupidly as his face and ears turned red while craig pecked his forehead before shutting the door and walking to the driver seat to head off

it was the start of something new, something warm and fresh.

"and you guys still think they're joking" kenny said rolling his eyes as he hopped into the back seat. kyle snd cartman just stared at them pull out of the school. "i guess they aren't" kyle muttered as cartman scoffed "it's all just an act, i know it"

"why can't you just be happy for him?" kenny asked as the two boys hopped into the car

"it just feels like something is off" kyle whispered

"so where we headed?" stan asked with a warm smile. craig's eyes gently fell as he slightly blushed with a small smile "burgers sound good right now don't you think?"

craig turned up the music as they drove in a comfortable silence to the burger place in town

"let's head in quick we don't have much time before practice starts" stan stated as he jumped out the car and rushed in. craig breathed out a small huff and followed behind slowly.
