VIVIENNE, DIOR AND CHARLIE WERE shopping for outfits to wear to charlie's premiere in two days.
so far they had been to seven stores. one in which they had been followed by a worker the whole time and one where charlie had found a suit.
it was getting late and they were all tired and grumpy, so they decided to try one more store before giving up.
vivienne noticed the expensive prices on all the dresses and the changing rooms that had actual doors instead of curtains.
everything in that store was so out of here budget that it was painful to even look at anything. yet she couldn't look away, she'd never been anywhere this fancy.
charlie and vivienne were looking at a rack of black dresses, while dior was on the other side of the store.
she found a particularly beautiful black gown. it was long and sparkly, strapless, and the dress of her dreams.
but from one look at the price tag she knew that the dress was out of the question.
she noticed charlie staring at her, an unfamiliar look on his face.
"do you not like it" he asked.
"i do, it's just way out of my price range" she answered.
she was embarrassed that she had to tell him, but she didn't want to keep any secrets.
"i'll buy it for you" he said.
"no, you can't do that" she denied his offer.
"i'm not asking. i'm going to buy you whatever dress you want" he insisted.
"thank you" she smiled up at him.
normally she didn't like it when people bought things for her, but charlie helped her without judging her.
"go try it on" charlie suggested.
"okay" she nodded along.
she found her size and grabbed charlie's hand, pulling him towards the changing rooms.
"wait i need dior's opinion" she changed her direction and made a bee line for dior.
"dior!" she called out.
"hey" dior speed walked towards them.
"i have this dress i want to try on but i need your opinion" vivienne said.
"oh my god, me too" dior replied.
the three friends made their way to the changing rooms, where dior pulled vivienne into the same changing room as her.
"okay, i need to know what happened between you and charlie. there's so much sexual tension between you guys" dior rambled.
vivienne let out a quiet laugh, she wasn't sure what to say.
"i don't know, we kissed and-" she started.
"you guys kissed?" dior interrupted.
"shhh" vivienne threw her hand over dior's mouth.
"yeah we kissed. we didn't do anything else but it was the best kiss i've ever had. i just don't know if he's going to ask me to be his girlfriend or not" she continued.
"oh he's definitely going to ask you to be his girlfriend. he's head over heels in love with you" dior assured her.
vivienne smiled to herself, she knew deep down that he was going to ask her, but there's was still a part of her that was worried about his intentions.
"can you zip me up?" vivienne asked.
"of course" dior turned around and helped her.
"holy shit, that dress is beautiful on you" vivienne gasped at the sight of dior.
"says you, you look absolutely stunning" dior said.
the girls left the changing room and saw charlie sitting on his phone.
he immediately looked up at the sound of the door opening.
he watched as the girls paraded around, pretending to be on the red carpet. he clapped and cheered them on as they pulled a few poses.
"i love them" he exclaimed.
he looked almost as excited as the girls were.
"are we ready to go? i'm so tired" charlie said.
"yeah, just let us get changed" vivienne replied.
vivienne and dior got changed as quickly as possible, then grabbed their dresses and left.
they paid for their dresses and made their way back to the car.

"THAT DRESS LOOKS INCREDIBLE ON you" charlie complimented vivienne.
they had been cooking dinner and chatting about anything that came to mind.
"thank you, you look pretty good in that you got" she returned the compliment.
"so. i was wondering if you'd want to be my girlfriend" he said.
vivienne couldn't believe what she was hearing, the one thing she had been wanting since the moment they'd met.
"yes, yes!" she shouted out of excitement.
he laughed at her jumping and giggling, and pulled her into a hug.
and then into another kiss. their second kiss.
all of her dreams were coming true right before her eyes. the dreams that she'd had since she was a little girl.
everything was almost perfect, the only thing missing was kaylee.
