You Are My Pain, Divine

Chapter - 11

It's been a month since Liam went missing. And everything changed after that. Ronan took a break from his work, appointing his father in his position till he finds Liam. He only goes to his office when his presence is needed in important meeting or other things. Liam's leaving changed Ronan entirely. He stopped talking to anyone. It's not like he's avoiding or ignoring everyone. He is just busy with finding Liam. He leaves his home, early in the morning, sometimes without eating breakfast. But nowadays he doesn't skip breakfast, because of what Steven said. One day Ronan skipped his breakfast which led him to faint, Steven was there in the hospital and he spoke to Ronan in a way that he never did like in the past 22 years. ' What will Liam feel when he sees you in this state? Do you want to make him sad when he comes back? ' After that Ronan never missed a meal. After that he would drive in his car all around the city looking for Liam. He and Taylor checked Liam's last call and it was to his old friend Daniel. They met with him a few times asking about Liam, but he was and still is on one stand saying he doesn't know where Liam is. He comes back home late. Mostly midnight. He doesn't remember the last time he spoke with Collin. Now he is standing before the mirror looking back at his reflection. He can't recognise himself. He now had a beard and that gave him a rough look. He got ready and went downstairs for breakfast. Collin was already sitting there. He doesn't talk when he sees Ronan. He is stressed out. It's been a month and there is still no clue about Liam. Steven came and placed banana milk in front of Ronan. Ronan raised his brows at him.
"Before Sir Liam left he gave me a letter about what to do when you and Collin are having hard times. He wrote to give you this when you are stressed."
Ronan's eyes filled with tears and he stood up and left.

Collin has been depressed for the past month. Shouldn't e be happy that his papa left? Like he wished for Taylor to be his papa and his papa to leave. He got what he wanted, but he's not happy. He couldn't concentrate on his studies. He gets snappy at any one. He even shouted at Max for no reason. After his papa left he came to knew his value. He missed his papa's clinginess, he missed his voice always asking him to take care of himself. For the first time in his life he prayed for his papa to come back.

It was 1 in the morning and Collin didn't expect his dad to walk inside  drunk. Taylor was behind him. He must have drove him here. Ronan sluggishly walked past him.
"Hey, your up?"
Taylor asked Collin. Collin looked at his dad's room.
"Is he okay?"
"He will be. Bye baby, i'll be going."
Taylor ruffled his hair and walked away.
"Wait!!"
Collin called him.
"That day dad said something like i wouldn't be here if it wasn't for my papa, what did he mean by that?"
Taylor looked like he wanted to say something, but sighed.
"It's not my place to say anything. Ask your dad, he would tell you. Just know that nobody in this world would love you like the way your papa loves you."
Taylor walked away without waiting for his reply. Tears filled Collin's eyes as he remembered the times he behaved badly to his papa. He wiped away his tears, determined that he would make everything right. He would fix everything and would apologise to his papa. But first they need to find him. Tomorrow when his dad wakes up he would tell him that he also will help him. 
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Continuous knocks woke up Ronan from his sleep. He held the side of his head in pain. Shit! Did he drink so much last night. The knocks continued and he shouted ' come in ' to whoever was outside. Collin came inside and stood near his bed. He had a glass of water and pills for Ronan's headache. Ronan quickly took the pills and chugged it down with the water.
Thanks baby."
Ronan smiled at Collin, who was happy to see his dad smiling after so many days.
"You don't have school?"
 "I took a leave today."
Ronan raised his brows, Collin took a deep breath before talking.
"I want to help you guys."
"Help?"
"I can help you find papa. Even if you say no i would try to find him by myself."
Ronan knew there is no point in arguing with Collin so he agreed reluctantly.
"Is it okay i go through papa's wardrobe?"
"Yeah, i never opened it after he left."
Ronan mumbled. Collin felt bad for his dad. He walked to the wardrobe and opened it. He could smell his papa's peach scent. He checked through the clothes and papers he saw. He froze when he saw a pregnancy test kit. He held it with shock and turned around to his dad.
"Umm dad? What is this?"
Ronan turned around and smiled softly. 
"Oh it must be the test kit when he was pregnant with you. When he became pregnant, he kept all things related to his pregnancy. The test kit to the clothes you wore till 5."
Collin smiled at that.
"He kept it in a box. It's below that jewellery shelf."
Ronan walked to the wardrobe and took the box. He opened it and the smile instantly fell off from his face.
"What is it?"
Collin asked seeing his dad's sudden mood change.
"There is a pregnancy test kit already in here."
"Then-"
Collin gasped at the realisation. His papa was pregnant?
"Liam is pregnant?"
"I'm going to be a big brother!!"
Ronan turned around and hugged his son in happiness.
"We need to find him soon. There is no way in hell i'm going to let him and our baby be alone."
Collin nodded determined. He is going to find his papa no matter what happens.
