Chapter - 21

7 YEARS LATER 

Liam was sitting on the couch while watching over Aili and Melody. Melody was Yohan's and Taylor's daughter. She was born a few months after Aili. Yohan and Taylor also had a son, Rhythm. He was born two years after Melody. Taylor was addicted or let's say totally crazy after seeing a fully pregnant, round belly Yohan. He wished to see Yohan like that. Liam remembers Taylor saying how horny he was for pregnant Yohan. And hence Rhythm was born. Now Yohan was pregnant again, with twins. Melody and Aili had a sleepover while Rhythm stayed with Yohan and Taylor. He was such a papa's boy. Liam heard a car pull over. Liam checked the time to see if it's time for Ronan and Collin to come back. Liam smiled when he saw Max walk inside. Max and Collin were in a relationship after years of dancing around. Well his son was also a little dumb and oblivious let's say like his father. Collin is working under Ronan since he has to take over the company in the future. Max is also working in their company as an intern. Max got the position just like any other candidate.
"Hey Liam?"
"How many times should i tell you that you can call me papa? You're just like a son to me."
Liam rolled his eyes.
"Ok Ok. Can you give this file to Collin?"
Liam frowned at the request.
"Why can't you give this to him yourself?"
At that Max's face fell.
"Don't tell me you guys fought?"
Max looked down fiddling with his hands.
"What did that idiot do this time?"
Liam asked folding his hands.
"No he -he..."
Liam knew Max would always support his son and believe he was at fault. He raised his brows making Max to shut up.
"It's just me being insecure."
Oh hell no!! He was going to rip his son's hair out of his head. No way in hell did his son make this angel feel bad about himself. Liam took a deep breath and smiled.
"Aili misses you. How about you take her and melody upstairs and hang out?"
Max nodded smiling and walked to where Aili and Melody was playing. Liam was controlling himself to not kill his own son. Just in time Collin came talking in his phone, probably about his work. He smiled at Liam and went to kiss him on his cheek. But Liam turned his head away and flicked his lips.
"Ouch papa?"
Liam glared at him.
"Max is here."
At the mention of his boyfriend Collin's whole attention was on his papa.
"He's here?"
"Well he came to drop a file."
"Fuck now he's not only ignoring my texts and calls ignoring me completely as well."
Collin mumbled under his breath.
"What the fuck did you tell him? Or what stupid thing you did to make him act like this way?"
Liam asked sternly. Collin gulped seeing his papa's angry face.
"It's-it's..."
Collin was stumbling on his words.
"There's this girl, who we used to be classmates with. And she is one of our clients. She flirts with me."
At that Liam scowled.
"I know i know. Max has mentioned many times how it makes him uncomfortable and i should stop her."
"Well can we blame him?"
Liam snapped at him.
"But i don't flirt back."
Collin defended.
"What if somebody flirts with Max?"
Liam asked Collin who clenched his jaw.
"Max won't encourage such behaviour."
"We know Max is not that type, but what would you do?"
"It would be the last time that fucker would be flirting with my boyfriend."
"See you got all angry thinking about this. Imagine how Max would've felt?"
This time Collin looked ashamed and guilty.
"You failed him as his boyfriend the moment he had to come to you begging to stop that situation. That situation shouldn't have been there in the first place."
"I'm sorry."
"Don't apologise to me go say this to him."
Liam said pointing towards Aili's room where Max was playing with them. Collin walked to the room determined to make things right. Liam sighed thinking about his stupid son. Liam was pulled out of his thoughts by the sound of a car pulling over.
"Is it Ro this time?"
Liam asked himself. An angry, fully pregnant Yohan came walking inside. Liam got concerned with how fast Yohan was walking. Liam stood up quickly and walked towards Yohan.
"Hey walk slowly!!"
Liam shouted, making Yohan to stop walking and glare at him. Liam gulped seeing his face. Liam took Yohan's hand in his and led him to sit on the chair. Liam rubbed his hands seeing Yohan was angry.
"What happened?"
Yohan suddenly laughed making Liam nervous.
"What happened? Well what happened is your so called soulmate ditching me and our son to attend his PA's phone call. And he left us to do some 'work'."
Yohan said air quoting the word work. His eyes started watering making Liam panic.
"Do you think he is starting to get bored of me?"
Liam wanted to laugh at this but he knew it wasn't a good idea since there is a chance that Yohan would kill him.
"Sweetie he kisses the ground you walk on and every time he is near you he can't keep his hands to himself. I don't think that man is bored of you."
Liam said making Yohan smile a little. Liam sighed in peace.
"Where is Rhythm?"
Liam asked.
"Steven took him."
Liam nodded and ordered the maids to bring snacks for Yohan to eat. Liam also texted Taylor to come at his house since Yohan was there. They both heard two cars pull over and saw Ronan and Taylor walk inside. Liam walked over to Ronan and kissed him while Taylor walked over to Yohan who was pouting like a kid.
"What happened between those two?"
"Nothing, just don't go in between."
They both watched as Taylor knelt down at Yohan's level and held his hands. Taylor held Yohan's hands and spoke softly. Liam saw Yohan's hard demeanor melt away. Collin and Max walked downstairs with the kids. Max had Rhythm on his hips. Liam don't know if their problems were resolved or not but he hopes they make up fast.
"Oh when did uncle Yohan and uncle Tay come?"
Collin asked. Max put Rhythm down and all the kids ran away to play in the living room.
"I just reached now while Yohan was here after i went to office."
Taylor said. Yohan quickly stood up and walked towards where Max was standing. Everyone panicked and rushed to him when they saw how fast he stood up and walked.
"Don't walk so fast!"
Taylor said scared. Yohan rolled his eyes.
"How about we have a family sleepover?"
Yohan asked.
"Sure why not?"
"Max, you would stay too right ?"
Yohan looked at Max with his famous puppy eyes. Looking at the way Max was stumbling on his words Liam realized things between him and Collin is yet to be resolved. Max sighed and just nodded.
"Yayy!!"
Yohan clapped. Oh this is going to be one hell of a sleepover.
