"LEAFY!!! HAVE YOU SEEN ICY?!" She asked frantically. Sighing, I tell "Listen, I don't know anything about your little girlfriend. Leave me out of your pride month recreation stuff!" I knew her face turned to her usual "I'M OBBESED with Ice CUBE!!!" to a mad face. She flipped me off, walking away. She's always been weird, but still Ice Cube never seems to mind her. Hell, even enjoy this maniac. But I shouldn't mind. I started walking home, feeling dizzy because the effects of the pills struck at me. It was a cold day, strangely. I was around a few steps until I came to my house, until...
i heard his voice
"leafy?" he muttered out
i froze in my steps
"grassy?"
i looked back
i couldnt see him
"grassy?"
"hello?"
"where are you?"

Eerie noises filled my ears. I couldn't think straight (then think gay). I haven't... Seen him for months. Nobody knew where he was. Tears stung my eyes, I was running to my house and when I came in, I just sat on the couch. I decided to make tea for myself to calm down, so I did. After what seemed like ages, the water was done, so I took the kettle, but then the door opened, so I spillt all the water on myself.
Tree spoke up "Hello Leaf- What the forest happened with you?" I looked at him, and he very much got the hint. "I was making tea, but then you scared me, so..." While I started wiping off the hot water, Tree looked at me confusingly. "What is it?" I questioned.
"Are you not feeling any... pain?" I realized that despite the water being hot as hell, I didn't feel anything. "No..." I remarked.
"Leafy."
"What?"
"I've noticed something."
"...What have you noticed...?"
"I had a bottle of pills I kept."
"..."
"They were pills that make you faint, hallucinate, make you suicidal and make you not feel pain." Tree stated. I chuckled nervously.
"...Why... are you telling me this...?"
"Because you literally have shown all remarks of these."
"Better question; why did you keep the-"
"Even better question; why did you take them?"
I was shaken. What would I respond to this...? Tree knew I took them. I had no choice but to just...
"I didn't- I didn't take them. This just didn't hurt. I swear."
Tree was very anxious about my mental state (Same Leafy, same...) but honestly... I didn't want him to know. I'd worry him which I would never do to him out of all objects. But... Maybe one day, I'll muster up the courage.
