Ch.1 Bennett's Past

An old man adventured through hell on earth, the scorching flames scalded his skin, the deafening thunder almost ruptured his eardrums, and the hollering winds threatened to Rip his soul from him.

At the end of his hellish journey, what awaited him was... a baby.

The old adventurer thought he was the first living thing to pass through this arduous ordeal. But how could he explain that which lay before him?

In that moment, it hit him, and he believed it to be true.

"This baby must be... a child abandoned by the world itself."

Though there were no mighty artifacts, jewelry, or gold, the old man's face did not seem disappointed in the slightest, for he regarded this baby, whose life hung by a mere thread, to be his treasure.

"This child is what I was meant to find on this journey," he thought as he took the baby into his arms.

Even if what he was about to do opposed the will of the world itself, he was unafraid.

When the old adventure arrived back to Mondstadt, the old adventurer died from severe injuries before being able to tell this story, leaving only the child he had saved.

On his deathbed, he only managed four final words: "will," "adventure," and "final treasure"

Several single, childless, old adventurers in the Adventurers' Guild in Mondstadt raised the child as their own and named him Bennett.

When the Adventurer's took baby Bennett out of the Adventurer's Guild apartment for fresh air, they would notice that bad stuff would happen. One day, an old adventure took Bennett to see weapons Smith. When he arrived, he handed a bag full of materials and said. " Make me the usual an iron sting." The black Smith nodded and started to make his sword. Bennett clapped his hands in excitement, but when the black Smith was banging the sword into shape, he hit his finger, breaking. he yelled in pain, holding his finger. People came to see what the Commotion was. The black Smith left the sword undone and rushed to the cathedral.Bennett and the old adventurer were confused. When the old adventurer got to the apartment, he told all the other adventurers what happened they didn't think much of it until.....

After a month, things got a little worse than before, like a flower pot, almost hitting one of the old Adventurer head or the Furnace almost burning the whole apartment down or an arrow almost hitting their head and it only happened when their around Bennett.

The old Adventurer's thought that Bennett was more than just a baby.... that he was cursed, some wanted to get rid of him, others said to....kill him... but others wanted to take care of bennett so he could have a life. It took a while to convince the others not to get rid of him or kill him.

When Bennett turned three, he would crawl around the Adventurer's Guild apartment. he was super energetic he would roll around the ground and laugh. The old Adventurer's laughed, and they were happy not to get rid of bennett. When Bennett turned four, he would tug at the old Adventurer's shirys to watch them fight, and when they did, bennett would watch from a distance as he awed at the coolness of the fight.

But...

One day....

The Adventurer's lost bennett they looked everywhere under the couchs under the beds, but nothing they feared that he got out of the apartment they all ran outside in search of Bennett, they asked around but nobody had a lead until they heard shouting all the old Adventurer's ran to the noise and what they saw was.....
