Ch.3 A New Start

Bennett opens his eyes and sits up on bed, rubbing his eyes.

"W..where am i?."

"..."

"Oh ya...I'm living with diluc for now on at his manor..."

Bennett gets off the bed and walks towards his closet and opens the door, and grabs his adventuring clothes.

Bennett takes off his pajamas and puts them away he beings by putting on his shirt, then his shorts he tightly put on his boots, and then he ties his orange and black cloth onto his arm then tightly puts on his gloves Bennett grabs his goggles and gently adjust them on his head Bennett quickly grabs his sword and puts it on his waist.

"There I'm all set!."

Bennett opens the door and heads towards the front door of the manor.

Bennett reaches the front door and puts his hand on the handle.

"And where do you think you're going, Bennett?"

Bennett turns around to see diluc with his arms crossed.

"I was going to go do my commission for today..."

Diluc nodded, scanning Bennett like a paper.

"Okay, but after you're finished, come back to the manor. I need to show you something."

Bennett nods.

"I'll try to hurry up then! Later diluc!."

Bennett opens the door and closes it behind him.

"Later kid...."

Bennett runs to Mondstadt. It took him at least 30 minutes to get there.

Bennett finally reaches Mondstadt. He walks towards the Adventurer's Guild counter to see Katheryne.

"Morning Katheryne!."

Bennett had a bright smile.

"Ad astra abyssosque! Morning Bennett....I'm sorry for what happened yesterday...it's just that..."

Bennett smile disappears while he rubs his neck.

"It's....it's alright....I get it really..."

"... well, here is your commission for today. There's been a hilichurl camp getting closer to Mondstadt..."

"Isn't that something the knights of Favonius should take care of?."

"Well, about that....there kinda have their hands full right now, so we're getting some of their work..."

"Alright, I'll do it for the safety of Mondstadt!."

"Thank you for understanding. Pass me your map so I can mark the area, please."

Bennett reaches inside his pouch and takes out a map, and passes it to Katheryne.

Katheryne grabs a marker and marks the hilichurl camp.

"My you be safe on your commission."

Katheryne returns the map back to Bennett.

"I'll get this done in no time. Just watch me!."

Bennett walks out of Mondstadt and opens up his map.

"It's located at the Whispering Woods? That's really close to Mondstadt..."

Bennett puts away his map and stretches.

"Well, let's get going then!."

Bennett begins walking to the whispering woods
