When trio reach the dining hall, all eyes were on them or more specifically, on Cale. Cale not liking this kind of attention but used to it, ignored it elegantly. Seeing this reaction, everybody began to it in awkward silence. Cale too sensing the atmosphere, decided to act as if he does not notice. He knew about they all think he is dense but in reality, he was just pretending because he is in denial and he does not want to deal with it and right now, it was very helpful right now.

Cale was just about to take a bite when he felt something was off with the food on his plate. His instincts which he learned to never ignore were telling him to not take a bite from the food. That's when he remember the overheard conversation in the afternoon.

He was taken off guard that they didn't stop the plan after the kitchen incident. He reached the conclusion that the incident just fuel the reason to do the plan more. He was no longer that surprise and confidently took a bite of the food with a hidden mischievous. He luckily already figured out a countermeasure for the truth serum.

Everybody else in the room nearly let out a sigh of relief. They knew how sharp Cale's instincts are and the fact he seem to have hesitated before taking a bite increase their worry.

"My dear dongseaong, how about we talk about the morning incident. To be more particular, your headache."

Alberu smile was literally shining. While Cale, he sense the truth serum in his body, trying to force the truth. With a stoic face but superior tone he answered,

"My headache is already fully healed. I don't think we need to talk about it."

He felt the stares around him increase in surprise. Because the serum was suppose to make him speak the truth didn't work. But it did, the only reason it didn't work how they wanted was because he decided to flip the whole thing over. How? By manipulating the serum.

It not that hard in all honesty. It could easily be done by treating it like a lie- detector. Because a lie - detector would only beep if we considered what we said as a lie. So by telling half truths and using our own opinions, it can be easily manipulated. The same way a truth serum can be manipulated, that is without the beep.

He held back a laugh when he saw their expressions. They were stupefied with his answer.

As they should for thinking about drugging him without his permission. Though he knew he was just doing it because of how overprotective they are so he decided to let it slide this one time, otherwise he would have already kicked them out for not trusting him.

"Why is it not working?" Rosalyn let out in a weak tone before covering her mouth.

"Whatever do you mean Rosalyn."  Cale said teasingly.

"What is not working?"

They lost. No they lost before they even began their plan. They should have known that Cale would find out. He was not a commander and strategist for nothing. He saw through their plan and came up with a countermeasure. He flipped the table brilliantly again.

They saw no reason trying to hide it anymore.

Choi Han: "How did you get your headache?"

Cale: "Had a rough night. I wasn't able to get much sleep."

Eruhaben: "Why were you limping?"

Cale: "I had hurt my leg accidently last night."

Ron: "How?"

Cale: "I hit my leg again something."

The questions continued on as Cale was eating. And with each question he was able to avoid telling them the full truth. Giving them no information. He finished his food and got up.

"I will be heading back to my room now. I hope you all remember to not enter my room after this time."

Everybody, disappointed with the results nodded.

"Good night then everyone. And don't try drugging me again. It won't and just because I let it go this time does not mean I will do the same again."

And with that, he left the room with a satisfied grin in his face. But left immediately when he reached his room.

Another round with the nightmares was about begin soon.
