In the Skibidi Realm, where gods of death exist, boredom prevails. The Skibidis waste away their time gambling and watching humans from afar. Among them is Rizzyuk, who finds his existence unbearably dull. Seeking some excitement, he decides to drop his Death Chamba, a Notebook that can kill anyone whose name is written in it, into the human world.

Meanwhile, in the human world, Ligma Sigmagami, an exceptionally intelligent high school student, feels disillusioned with the world around him. One afternoon, while walking home from school, Ligma spots a black notebook lying on the ground.

"What's this?" Ligma murmured as he picked up the Notebook. On its cover, it read "Death Chamba."

Ligma opened the Notebook and read the instructions:

"It was written on the name of the people will die in the notes.

If the name is written on the faces of the object without killing in mind there is no utility. But people sharing the same name will not be affected.

Write the name, within 40 seconds to write the cause of death, things will be in accordance with that.

If the cause of death is not written, it is also a heart attack."

Ligma chuckled skeptically, "As if something like this could be real."

Nonetheless, curiosity got the better of him. That evening, while watching the news, Ligma saw a report about a criminal holding hostages. He decided to test the Death Chamba.

"If this is real," Ligma thought, "then this criminal will die."

With his pen poised over the Notebook, Ligma wrote the criminal's name: Quandale Dingle. Forty seconds later, the news reported that the criminal had collapsed and died of a heart attack.

"It can't be," Ligma gasped. "Could it really be true?"

To confirm, Ligma found another criminal's name and repeated the process. Once again, the result was the same. The criminal died of a heart attack.

"This power... it's real!" Ligma exclaimed, exhilaration and fear mixing in his voice. "I can change the world with this!"

Determined to rid the world of criminals, Ligma began writing names feverishly, envisioning a utopia free of crime where he would reign as a god. However, the sudden spike in unexplained deaths of criminals did not go unnoticed. The public began to refer to this mysterious killer as "Kekira."

In response to Kekira's actions, the world's authorities turned to a mysterious and highly skilled detective known only as L. L, whose identity was hidden even from the police, began to piece together clues about Kekira.

During a televised broadcast, L devised a trap. The broadcast featured a man who claimed to be L, challenging Kekira directly.

"Kekira, I am L," the man on the screen said. "I will find you and bring you to justice."

Watching the broadcast, Ligma smirked. "You think you can catch me? Let's see if you can survive this." He wrote the name of the man on the screen in the Death Chamba.

As expected, the man on the broadcast died of a heart attack. However, the real L sent the broadcast with a 15-minute delay to every capital of the world. Checking the death time of the fake L, who was a convicted criminal, the detective immediately deduced Kekira's location.

"So, Kekira is in the Ohio region of Japan," L concluded, "and he can kill without being physically present, knowing only a face and a name."

Back in the human world, Rizzyuk revealed himself to Ligma.

"Who are you?" Ligma demanded, startled by the appearance of the Skibidi in his own room.

"I am Rizzyuk," Rizzyuk said with a grin, "and I'm the one who dropped the Death Chamba into your world."

"Why did you do that?" Ligma asked, trying to hide his surprise.

"Out of boredom," Rizzyuk replied nonchalantly. "I wanted to see what a human would do with it. I won't help you or stop you. I'm just here to watch."

"My sister is going to have a heart attack if she sees your face..." Ligma ironises.

"Only a human who touches a Death Chamba can see its Skibidi original owner," Rizzyuk explained.

As Ligma continued to use the Death Chamba, L intensified his investigation. The Japanese police, including Digitaru Fortonaito Sigmagami, Ligma's father, were brought in to assist. L suspected that Kekira could be someone with access to police information.

To confirm his suspicions, L installed hidden cameras and wiretaps in the homes of those he suspected, including the Sigmagami household.

Ligma quickly realized he was being watched. To outsmart L, he drew up a plan. After asking Rizzyuk where all cameras were, he concealed a tiny LCD television in a bag of potato chips to watch the news and continue writing names while pretending to study.

"Let's see you catch me now," Ligma whispered to himself, smirking as he wrote down another name.

Despite Ligma's clever maneuvers, L remained undeterred. He knew he was dealing with a formidable opponent. The stage was set for an intense battle of wits between Ligma Sigmagami, the self-proclaimed god of the new world, and L, the genius detective determined to stop him.
