Vincent sat in his office in a sour mood. He was reading that report for the third time now. All this time she was in the southern slum, she wasn't far from him with their son. He did see his son only one time, when he was a newborn.

Eden should be 6 now, 2 years older than his step-brother. The duke couldn't help but feel some sort of guilt. He should have not stop looking for them. He should have still hold on the hope that they were alive and well.

Vincent finally put the report down and looked at Paul. The aide knew why he was angry. The man held his head down.

“_ How did the Tears of Venus ended up with Evelyn?”

Paul bite down his tongue while planning his next word. Taking a deep breath, he talked to his Lord and old friend.

“_It’s a necklace every duchess Calisto wore for generation. The madam…

_She is not and will never be that necklace owner in this generation. That necklace already have it's owner.

_My lord, you can't do that! And Lady L/n hav-!”

He stopped mid track under the Duke piercing eyes. Paul was sweating as he and the butler looked at Vincent in shock. It was as if he was saying Evelyn wasn't the real Duchess Calisto. The aide couldn't help but frown. His Lord was still deeply in love with Y/n even after almost 6 years.

“_By the way Paul, I want you to deliver this to the Duchess Black.”

He put a small box wrapped carefully on his desk. Paul almost threw a tantrum. If it's the new Duchess Black then it means Y/n. He reluctantly agreed knowing the danger. Vincent smiled coldly at the two in front of him.

“_No need to look like that. It's just a wedding gift.”

Paul couldn't help but shudder. Y/n and his Lord were married under the family name White. By the imperial law he guessed it could be said that she was his second wife. It wasn't practiced outside of the imperial family but taking multiple wives wasn't against the law. Paul couldn't help but pity Evelyn. The Duchess just couldn't win.

Joseph looked at the etiquette teacher. It was the third teacher to say this.

“_There nothing to teach the Madame and young master Eden.

_ What do you mean?

_ If you don't mind me telling, I think Madame is actually a noble… she already knows everything a Lady should. As for the youngest master, he learned everything easily. He should be able to take lessons along with the young master.”

A 6 year old talented enough to take lessons meant for an 8 year old boy. Joseph frowned at the notion. Y/n wasn't what she seemed. Upon investigation, he learned a lot of strange things about the L/n family and the young woman herself. L/n family never existed until the beginning of the current lineage. It's said that they were rich merchants but they used to own very little business. As he was tracking Y/n's past and origin, she noticed one constant. Every childrens of this family lived their childhood with Baron Cohen. The Cohen served and educated the imperial family for ages now. Aside from that, Y/n herself was a mystery. She lived in an area where it was common for women to be assaulted. But not once was she in danger, in fact they seemed to stay away from her. She had a certain control over the slum. Putting the paper down, he started to write a letter and gave it to Harry.

“_ Send this to the old Baroness Cohen.

_Yes, my Lord.

_Tell them it's about the L/n family. Something tells me they will receive you immediately.”
