CHAPTER 1

MARCH 24, 2024.   
  9:00pm

Exactly 9:00pm when the accident happened. "EMERGENCY,EMERGENCY!!", the nurses and doctors came rushing toward us, seeing my sister's body covered in blood and wounds made me feel weaker. "Sorry Ms. Alvarez, ginawa na po namin ang lahat, we did our best but she didn't make it", hearing those words from the doctor made my whole body froze. nakatitig lang ako sa doctor and just don't believe what he said, naramdaman ko na yung mga luha ko unti-unting pumapatak sa mga mata ko, then suddenly the nurse told me where my sister is. as i step inside the room ramdam ko yung bigat ng katawan ko, seeing my sister's lifeless body I feel weak, habang papalapit ako sa stretcher kung saan siya nakahiga, as i slowly remove the thing that cover her face, mas lalong bumuhos yung mga luha ko. i grabbed her head and place it on may arm, I aslo grabbed her hand I shouted her name to wake her up, upon seeing her breathless body and pale face I know na wala na akong maririnig na sagot galing sa kanya kainlanman, I stared at her face for a second and a lot of memories flash on my mind, i can see her smile, her gummy smile and her laugh is echoing on my mind. but there's nothing i can do He already took her from me," You are the only person i truly trust at ikaw lang ung taong nakakaintindi saken, wala nang iba, WHY DID YOU LEVE ME LIKE THIS?!" I shouted. My heart hurt so much, patuloy kong isinisigaw ang pangalan niya to the point my throat hurts, "Jade pleaseee wake upppp!" I shouted, I hugged her so tight. unti unting lumalabo ang paningin ko, mas lalo ring bumibigat katawan ko, and EVERYTHING WENT DARK......

FEW HOUR PASED..

As i opened my eyes, ang sakit ng ulo ko and a few minutes later a nurse came in, "HI PO" she greeted me with a heartwarming smile, "I'm nurse Dina, and i'm here po to check ng kalagayan mo, kung meron ka man pong na raramdaman na masakit, sabihin mo lang po saken and.." where's my sister??" pagpuputol ko sa sasabihin niya, "Sorry po? your sister?" she asked with a confusion on her face."  Yes, my sister." napaka ikli kong sagot, "Uhmm she's.." before she can finish her words, the door opened and a woman with a dark shiny hair walk in. I can't clearly see her face kasi i'm not wearing my glasses, "Take care of her nurse Dina," the woman said at lumabas naman agad ito. "sino yun?" i asked curiosity, " Ahh yun po, si Doc. Garcia po yun, the most famous Doctor here at the Oasis Medical Center Hospital" mahaba niyang sagot "Ganda niya po noh?" pag dudugtong niya.
"Sorry?" sabi ko habang naka kunot ang uno,
"Sabi ko po,ang ganda ni Doc. Garcia", sagot niya while smiling.
" Ahhh, sorry i didn't saw her face"
sagot ko sakanya.
" Ohh sayang",
" Sayang what?" I asked.
"Sayang po kasi hindi nyo po nakita si doc, i mean ung mukha niya." she said.
I just ignored her and kept thinking my sister.
"Ito po inumin niyo po,para mawala ung sakit ng ulo niyo." she said while giving me the medicine she's talking about.
"Thankyou", maikli kong sagot.

4 DAYS LATER...

Ikaapat na araw na since my sister's got on a car accident, ito na rin ung araw ng libing niya.
I saw my parents crying on her burial,
how could they?, sila lang naman ung dahilan kung bakit sila nawalan ng anak. sana kung tinanggap nila si ate jade, buhay pa sana siya ngayon.
My parents kept saying sorry,
" Ano pa mapapala ng sorry niyo?", i said in a very cold tone,
" Huli na, huli na ang lahat" sabi ko while looking at them with a cold eyes,
" You guys are the only reason kung bakit siya ngayon nandito!"i shouted,
" Sana kung tinanggap niyo lang siya, hindi aabot sa ganito!", My parents look at me with confused face.
"Kayo!, kayo yung dahilan kung bakit siya na aksidente sa sasakyan!" I shouted while crying,
" Ate got hurt sa mga sinabi niyo sakanya, kaya siya umalis, you guys didn't even gave her a chance to speak!, yung sarili niyo lang ang pinakinggan niyo!", sunod sunod kong sabi habang umiiyak sa galit.
"You guys are so selfish!" I shouted that made my family and guests in schoked.
Iti yung unang araw na bakita nila akong galit, I never got mad before. Kaya ganun nalang sila kagulat, even my parents, gulat na gulat sila.
lumapit sila saken," nak we're really sorry, sorry anak", my dad said while crying.
"So-ssorry talaga anak, we never knew that this would happend." my mom said while sluttering.
" Dapat ginamit niyo mga utak niyo bago niyo siya pinagsalitaan ng masasakit na salita,"
" Grabe kayo, di ko alam kung magulang ko ba kayo", tugon ko habang pinupunasan ko mga luha ko.
" We're really sorry anak, we're really sorry", sunod-sunod nilang sabi.
After ng libing  ni ate jade, kaagad akong umalis kasi may trabaho pa ako
"una na ho ako" sabi ko habang papatayo sa kinauupuan ko.
As i was walking papunta kung saan naka park yung sasakyan ko, I saw a familiar face wearing a black outfit, then our eyes met.
"Is that ate thea?", I said in a very low voice,
"Ahm... Yes po ma'am?,ano po yun?" one of my guard ask me.
"Nothing, pasok na kayo, susunod ako." i said with a calm voice.
"Pero ma'am.." before he can finish his words I looked at him with a deadly look.
"Sabi ko nga po papasok na" my guard said while smiling na parang kinakabahan and went inside the car.
Nang makapasok na sila sa sasakyan,
dali dali naman akong pumunta kung saan naka tayo si ate thea, Ate thea is ate jade's girlfriend, yes you heard it right, they've been together for 3years, yes 3years nilang tinago yung relationship nila sa mga magulang namin, at dahil sa pag out ni ate jade that night, that was the time na naaksidente siya, hindi siya tinanggap ng parents ko na she's a bisexual.
"I love you so much jade, and i'm so sorry wala ako nung time na yun"
she said while crying.
"sana na ligtas man lang kita, o sana kasama mo ako ngayon kung nasan ka ngayon." sunod sunod na tugon ni ate thea.
i couldn't do anything, my tears slowly began to fall again.
I just hugged ate thea so hard,
"Tara po ate, hatid kana po namin"
sabi ko while whipping her tears.

Few hour passed...

after 1hour, nahatid ko na si ate thea sa bahay nila, medyo may kalayuan yung bahay kaya inabot ng isang oras.

**RING, RING**

My phone rung habang pabalik na'ko sa sasakyan ko,
kumunot ang noo ko as I grabbed my phone, it says,
"UNKNOWN NUMBER" who coud it be?
i answered the call and a female voice spoke.
"Hello, is this Natasha Kim Alvarez?" tugon ng babaeng nasa kabilang linya.
"Uhm, yes this Natasha Kim Alvarez speaking." I replied.
"Ma'am this is the Oasis Medical Center Hospital, Your brother Travis Alvarez is admitted here, he has a severe condition due to the impact of a car crush, we need you po ASAP."
Sunod sunod na bigkas ng babae sa telepono.
I was stunned, dali dali akong pumasok sa sasakyan ko,
"Kuya to the Oasis Medical Center Hospital now!", I shouted.
Di ko na nasagot yung girl sa phone ko kasi i already hangup the phone.
As we arrived here at the hospital,
tumakbo na agad ako papunta sa counter and ask where my brother is.
"Miss, Travis Alvarez" saad ko habang hinihingal.
"2nd floor po, room 12" the nurse said.
Pagbukas ng elevator sa 2nd floor tumakbo agad ako, and i bumped to someone and i lose my balance, we stared at each other for about a second, she was holding my whole body. I can't clearly see her face, nahulog kasi ung eyeglasses ko all i can see is a dark shiny and long hair, and her scent is so sweet, her arm is so warm.
