Still Liam POV;

While waiting at the bus stop, Jimin exclaimed, "Look, he's coming!"

He walked towards me and asked "You never mentioned punching me. That wasn't part of the deal. You owe me extra for the damage."

And yes, you guessed it correctly; it was a setup. Taehyung's great plan.

"Here, take this," I replied as he walked away with the money.

"The girl won't forget your help, buddy. She'll definitely come talk to you tomorrow," Jungkook remarked with a smirk.

I just smiled, thinking what tomorrow will bring.

I decided to make a quick stop at the cafe, the same one that Jennie always passes by on her way to school. As I patiently waited, I caught sight of her approaching while engrossed in her phone. Just before she walked past me, I mustered up the courage to strike up a conversation.

"Hey," I greeted her with a smile. She glanced at me, returning the smile.

I couldn't help but think that Jungkook was right; she looked really good after my help.

"Oh, hey! I've been wanting to talk to you about something," she said, her gaze fixed on me.

In that moment, my heart fluttered with anticipation. Could it be that she's about to confess her feelings for me? Or perhaps she's asking me out on a date to express her gratitude?

My dream world shattered when she uttered those words: "I know what you did. Jerk."

"What?" I inquire, feeling puzzled.
"Your attempt to play the hero," she remarked as she brushed past me, bumping into my shoulder.

How did she find out? I rushed to school to confide in my friend about this.

Jennie POV;

Yes, I'm aware. I witnessed them conversing with that man and even giving him money. I believe he did it to impress me because he liked me. I found out that he likes me because Rose mentioned that whenever he visited their house, he would inquire about me. He even confessed to her that he has feelings for me. It was quite adorable, but I can't stand people who lie.

As I entered through the gate, there was a bike parked right in front of me, and it belonged to Kai.

"What do you want?" I asked, slightly irritated.

He smirked and replied, "I heard that a guy saved you from a thief yesterday "

"That's none of your business," I retorted, walking past him.

"Hey, I was just joking. What I actually wanted to tell you is that our parents are having dinner tonight, and I have to pick you
up after school," he said.

"Alright, I'll be at the gate," I replied, continuing on my way to class.

If you're curious about the relationship between Kai and me, he happens to be the son of my mother's best friend. We've known each other since we were young. However, people mistakenly believe that we have romantic feelings for each other. But personally, even if he were the last man on earth, I have no interest in him. He's a wonderful friend and brother, though. And nobody knows about this, not even my friends. It's really not a big deal.

Liam POV;

I dashed to my class, paying no attention to the people I accidentally bumped into along the way.
