chapter seven

I watched as velvette bounced towards me with a black dress with sequins that complimented the whole dress. With it, she carried black lace up heels and a beautiful diamond necklace.

"Y/n! I swear you're going to look drop dead gorgeous! I can't wait to see Valentinos reaction!" she said, shoving the materials in my arms as she shoved me into a dressing room.

I took a look at the dress, it has sparkly ruffles at the bottom and a v cut collar that completely shows off my boobs, it ended at the middle of my thighs. There was black velvet gloves and fishnets with a garter belt, the shoes were black lace ups with a chunky heel. velvette was right, this whole outfit is drop dead gorgeous, but how will it look on me?

I took off my clothes and strapped the dress on, slipped the gloves on and laced the heels on.

Wow..

i looked absolutely stunning. the dress complimented my curves and my chest. I felt more confident than ever with this outfit on.

I straightened my hair and put on some light, dark makeup. nothing too flashy. I walked out to see Valentino coming out of our room.

he said a creme white suit on with diamonds along the collar, he had a long creme hat on with a dark red bow. he said dark red heels on with white for the heels. he had his signature gold rimmed pink shaded heart shaped sunglasses.

"Oh my.. Y/n, you look.. breathtaking.." Valentino whispered in my ear as he rested his hand on my shoulder. "Thanks Val.." I said, he smirked and linked his arm with mine as we walked out to the limo.

As we stepped in, velvette was charging towards me hurrying me to sit down. she was basically shaking out of her skin.

Velvette was wearing a silk red dress that ended at her knees, she had too many dangle bracelets on to count. she had this beautiful ruby necklace that complimented her eyes. her shoes were middle leg long boots of the color black. her hair was done up into a puff bun.

Valentino pulled me closer to him, vox was watching and scoffed at the sudden public display of affection between me and Valentino.

Vox had a grey suit on with a red tie and a grey hat that ruined his antennas a bit. his shoes were black dressing shoes.

we arrived to a beautiful palace, there was a red carpet leading up to the doors.

I watched as valentino stepped out and reached his hand in for me to take, I set my hand in his as I stepped out. he linked his arm with mine as we walked up the stairs. there was paparazzi and news reporters.

Two men opened the door for us as we stepped in .

the whole palace looked rich, rich. there was a huge chandelier, paintings on almost every wall, tables and chairs scattered around the ball room. and a stage with a podium and a microphone.

i saw a butler walk past with a platter full of champagne in the tallest glasses, I grabbed one. you best know I won't be able to get through this sober. im usually so confident but this palace, this ball. its like a final boss.

i took a sip and stumbled with Valentino, he finally let go and went to socialize, I did the same.

I came across a blonde haired girl a few inches taller than me, "Hii! I'm Charlie- Charlie Morningstar! what's your name?"  she asked, she was bubbly and energetic. "I'm y/n, Ms Morningstar" I said in a shy tone.

"Y/n... wait! The Y/n? You're the one angel told me about!" she said. Angel? who is angel- oh. angel dust.

before I can speak, she pulled me over to the white sex spider.

"Oh! uh, hey y/n.." Angel dust said, his accent thick around his words. I waved and stepped back a bit.

"How are ya? Are you okay?" he asked, the last bit in a hushed tone.

"I'm fine! why wouldn't I be okay?" I said completely clueless.

he didn't say anything after that, he just nodded and waved goodbye. as soon as I turned around, I saw Valentino storming towards me.

"Back here. Now." he said in a aggressive tone as he grabbed my arm and rushed me out of the ball room. he pulled me aside.

He slapped me. "Why the FUCK  were you talking to that slut?! I want you to stay away from him, I don't need his Twink-ass to brainwash you into being a lazy piece of shit." he said with the most horrible tone I've ever heard.

I held my cheek, it stinged as my hand made contact with it.

"We need to get back, the ceremony is about to start." he said grabbing my arm, more gentle this time and pulling me back into the ballroom and to our table with velvette and vox.

I hadn't realized I was crying until I saw angel looking at me with a scared look and velvette asking me if I was okay. I nodded and looked up to the stage.

Lucifer and Lilith Morningstar walked out and went to the podium.

"Greetings, everybody from the pride ring!" Lilith said as she leaned in to the microphone, her horns glowing in the spotlight

"I am so joyed to have you all here today, we all know it's traditional to have our annual ball" he said with a proud voice

"so we encourage you to have fun, get wasted! forget about work! but don't break any of my stuff, I will execute you if you break anything" he said, getting pushy at the end.

I saw Lilith and Charlie walking my way, "Hi y/n!! this is my mom Lilith, I think you know here hehe" she said.

"Hello dear." Lilith said taking my hand with hers and shaking it gently.

"is everything okay? My dear daughters friend saw you crying from distress, maybe discomfort" she said. she handled the situation pretty easily.

"Oh I'm fine, I just had a minor inconvenience.. I best be going!" I said as I hurried off. I grabbed another glass of champagne from the platter. I hurried as I gulped it down.

I saw angel trying to approach me, I didn't want to stay away from him but I want to make Valentino happy. I tried to hurry away until.

"Y/n! please.. I need to speak with you.. I'm begging" he said as he grabbed my arm. I tried to resist but I gave in and let him talk.

"I saw ya crying after ya spoke with val, did he hit ya? it's pretty obvious" he said pointing to my cheek , I panicked.

I grabbed my phone and turned to the camera, there it was. a blue and black bruise forming on my cheek.

"Fuck. I got to go" I need to find velvette, I can't deal with anymore people asking if I was okay! I ran and tried to find velvette, I spotted her talking to some overlords and their plus ones.

I sped walked towards her and gently pulled her away.

"what?! I was just about to get a new model- what the fuck happened to your cheek?!" she asked as she turned my head to the side to get a better look.

"it's nothing! please, do you have anything to cover this up with? I don't wanna look like this especially in front of royalty!" I said and she nodded as she pulled me to a bathroom.

she pulled out a pallet of liquid foundation and dabbed some on my face. good as new, she sprayed some perfume and now I was ready to get back on the dance floor.

i walked back out into the ball room with velvette, she went back to her friends and I just swayed to the music.

a tall shark demon walked forward and danced and grinded on me, I didn't care. too tipsy to care. it got sweaty and heated too quickly until I saw someone pull him off of me.
