The man's expression hardened. "Who are you?" he demanded, turning to face Remy, "And who is she?"

"I need to know what you know about them," Clint stated dryly.

"I know they put up a good fight," Remy joked as she sat up in her hospital bed.

The night previous, Remy thought to check herself into a nearby emergency room after her encounter with who she learned were the same people behind the cyberattacks.

"You weren't too bad yourself.." Kate chimed in. "For someone who wasn't prepared."

Remy smirked, humored by Kate's only half-true remark before returning to her serious front. "How did you even find me?"

"Hello." Remy waved, wincing as her other hand worked to cup a wound on her abdomen.

Clint's expression hardened. "We found your bag. Full name was on the inside. Not exactly subtle."

'Remy Reau'

Remy pursed her lips in defeat.

Clint leaned forward, his impatience clear. "I need to know what you were doing there last night. What do you know about the Tracksuit Mafia?"

"Tracksuit mafia? That's a bit on the nose."

"Right?" Kate chimed in enthusiastically.

"I'm Kate Bishop," The woman panted.

"You're a kid. My God."

Remy took a deep breath, trying to gather her thoughts. "Somebody.. Or some organization," she corrected "Is targeting businesses here in the city. I've investigated a series of cyberattacks. 'Seemed too precise to be random."

Kate raised an eyebrow. "Cyber-detective, huh?" She teased.

"When I went to investigate, I saw those guys come out of a van from Sloan Limited. That's the compan-"

"That's their front. Money laundering," Clint interrupted.

Clint's expression softened, but only slightly. "What have you found out about them?"

"I'm.." Remy panted as she picked herself up "I'm Remy, Hi."

Remy recounted her findings, detailing the cyberattacks and the money laundering scheme. She explained how the Tracksuit Mafia was using shell companies to mask their operations and causing chaos to distract authorities. Clint listened intently while Kate's expression beamed with a mix of interest and something else Remy couldn't quite piece.

When she finished, Clint rubbed his chin thoughtfully. "That lines up with what we've been hearing."

"Where did you get this suit?" Hawkeye questioned irately, hardly acknowledging their third party.

"I've been tracking their movements. They've got people everywhere." Said Remy.

Clint excused himself as his phone rang. He left the room to accept the call privately. Likely family-related, Remy thought.

Remy wiped her upper lip with her sleeve, revealing a concerning amount of blood. Deciding to slip away from the pair, she resolved to put the previous events behind her.

As Clint walked out of the room, Kate turned to Remy.

"So, Remy Reau..." Kate began, leaning back casually in her chair as she slid Remy's bag to her bedside. "What's a girl like you doing in a place like this?" She joked.

Remy chuckled, wincing slightly at the pain. "Oh, you know, just thought I'd try out the whole 'broken nose' look. Am I pulling it off?"

Kate grinned. "Solid eight out of ten."

Remy rolled her eyes. "Thanks, I guess.. So, what? You're like Hawkeye's prodigy?"

"Totally, yes," Kate nodded enthusiastically. "We're tight."

After a brief silence, Remy's curiosity got the better of her. "How did you get involved in all this?"

"I kind of idolized him growing up." She glanced to Clint through the window. "Last night he helped me escape those tracksuit guys. Now I'm helping him figure out what the hell they want."

Remy smiled, feeling a strange sense of camaraderie with Kate.

"So, what's your deal? Cyber-detective.. It's pretty badass, but it's not your average major."

Remy fiddled with her hospital bracelet, giggling to herself as she once again ignored the name Kate had given her. "You in school too?"

Kate nodded with a smile.
