Chapter 8 Leaving?

Moonlight POV

Hound eventually landed the ship far from the city and the view of KSI, and when I say "land," I mean crashed landed. Hound wasn't the greatest pilot, but he wasn't the worst either. I evaded everyone's stares as I made my way down the ship's ramp with my arms folded across my chest. We were waiting for Bumblebee to arrive with the humans and the twins outside of an abandoned train station. I waited calmly, sending out waves of anger that frightened everyone who came close to me.

At last, Bumblebee's alt-mode appeared, the twins were following him, driving in their alt-modes. I observed Bumblebee come to a complete stop, letting Cade, Tessa, and Shane out, while the arrived soon after, transforming and laughing in the process. However, their laughter would soon end.

"Moon..." Ironhide started, but I cut him off fast. I started to move slowly across the grassy area, and as soon as the others noticed, many of them ran for shelter, leaving the others to observe from a distance. As soon as they sensed a frightening presence behind them, the twins felt the air get heavy and gulp down. I was hovering above them with my hands on my hips and the angstiest expression I had ever been able to muster when they turned around.

"C-ca... carrier?" LightStrike ducked behind NightStrike as he spoke up first.

"WHAT WERE THE TWO OF YOU THINKING!" I yelled and the twins jumped at my outburst, but I wasn't done with them yet.

"It's unbelievable that both of you would act that foolishly at that particular moment! Do you realize how anxious and sick your Sire and I were?! Imagine if you gotten hurt?! Or worse, killed?!" I screamed in frustration. Ironhide placed his servo on my shoulder trying to calm me down.

"Sweetspark, please calm down. It's alright. After all, what counts now is that they are safe, right?" Ironhide said. He was trying to calm me and to cut back on the yelling.

"Shut up, Ironhide!" I yelled, turning to face him and pushing his servo. He raised his servos and took a couple of steps back.

"All of this it's your fault because you lost them in the first place! Nothing of this would have happened if you had been paying attention from the beginning! Really, why am I the only one being responsible right now? I can't take a break, even though I used to be so irresponsible!" I screamed, shoving Ironhide into a corner and turning back to the twins.

"Tell me, what the hell were you two thinking?!" I shouted as I turned to face the twins again, "Just think, what would have happened to you two if Crosshairs and Bumblebee hadn't shown up to save?" I saw the twins gazed at their pedals, unable to respond to my question.

"Exactly! Nothing! Lockdown would have discovered you two as soon as you guys reached space and who knows what he would have done to you two" I responded.

"Moonlight, please" Optimus spoke up and walked over to me. I looked at Optimus and gave him an angry expression.

"Calm down, you're scaring your sparklings" He said. I turned to look at the twins again and saw them both crying and trembling in fear. My expression transformed from one of fury to one of hurt. I quickly inhaled deeply before moving to kneel in front of them.

"It's okay, babies. Mommy's sorry" I said and hugged them, "I was just so worried." Both gave me quick hugs in return.

"C-carrier, we're so... sorry" LightStrike said, clinging into my chest.

"Yes" NightStrike continued, "... w-we just wanted to show that we could help out." I sighed and gave them a closer hug.

"It's alright" I said, "All that matters right now is that you two are fine and learned your lesson." Turning to face Ironhide, who grinned and nodded before embracing us.

"But until I say otherwise, you two are going to be grounded for life" I said. After some time, I manage to calm down, and the twins stop cry.

"Hey, let's break the good news to Bumblebee now that it's over" Crosshairs said, "And that is that we got a ship now and we could head out." He was lying on a train wagon until he sat up.
