Chapter 10 Joining The Fight

Moonlight POV

And without delay, we all stormed into the city. As we made our way back to the city, I watched as the Dinobots swiftly surged through the forest, bringing down any trees and buildings that stood in their way.

"I wonder what their name are" I muttered and NightStrike nod, "It's weird to call them Dinobots all the time."

":: Actually, we do have names::" I was startled and nearly unbalanced as I heard a new voice suddenly speak up in my head.

"Huh, who said that?" glancing around, I asked, but I couldn't be the others because they were too far away.

":: It was me the Dinobot that you're riding::" the raptor's voice spoke my head. NightStrike looked at me confused, but I quickly reassure that I was okay.

"How are you doing that? How are you speaking in my head" I asked the raptor as we jumped over a hill.

":: Telepathically, we speak to others like that::" It answered back. I nodded in disbelief after learning this.

"I see, so all of you got a name? What are they?" I asked.

":: My name is Velox, the T-Rex is Grimlock our leader, the Triceratops is Slug, the Spinosaurus is Scorn, and the pterodactyl is Strafe::" He responded.

"I see. Nice to battle beside you, Velox" I added, "I hope you can help me protect my family," and Velox and the other Dinobots let out loud roars in response.

At last we had finally reached the city and joined the battle. I leaped from Velox's back as fast as possible, slicing through a couple of artificial cons before jumping and landing back on Velox's back.

"Go ahead and shoot" I said to NightStrike. He nodded quickly and started firing at a few cons in front of us. I turned to face the others, who were battling and eliminating any con who dared to cross their path.

"*Moonlight*" via the bond that I shared with Ironhide, I received a call.

"*Oh, thank you, Primus, Ironhide! Are you alright?*" I asked, "*Is LightStrike okay?*"

*Grrr, LightStrike is okay. I-I... not so well*" Ironhide answered and I felt my optics go wide when I heard the hurt in his voice.

"*"Not so well," what do you mean?*" I followed up with another question.

"*Sorry, Sweetspark, but we are all surrounded and hurt severely*" Ironhide answered.

"*Hang on, Sweetspark. I'm almost there*" I responded before gesturing Velox to go faster.

Finally, we noticed Bumblebee ahead, surrounded by cons. As soon as Optimus helped him with the T-Rex named Grimlock, I started searching for Ironhide and eventually located him. He was in the ground, surrounded by cons, while a sword was about to slice through him.

"NO!" I roared and lunged toward the horde of cons around my Sparkmate. I jumped off and used my dual blades to stab a few cons in the chest, opening a way for me to move past the cons that surrounded Ironhide. I took out my gun and shot the con that was on my Sparkmate after kicking two cons at Velox, letting him kill them for me.

"Get away from my Sparkmate!" I yelled before sprinting over to give Ironhide a bear crushing embrace. I felt my spark beating out of my chest as he hugged me back.

"Ironhide, thank you Primus, you're okay" I replied.

"I am all thanks to you" He said and released the hug gently pressing our faces together for a kiss.

"After this is all over, I want more than just a small kiss" He said. I rolled my optics, but grinned with a nod.

"Sire! Look at me, I'm riding a Dinobot" NightStrike yelled. Ironhide turned to look at him and realized that NightStrike was sitting on top of Velox's back.
