Little butterfly

Background

I was running around with my siblings when the queen of azgada comes up to us " iris come with me" I looked at her then at siblings and waved goodbye I walked up to the queen and we went off to a private room that's where she began to talk "iris you know you are better then any child I have ever known you are better then half the adults warriors in this clan" I nod at this cause I know it's true.

I say " why do you call me in here" she turned and looked straight at me I got scared thinking I made her mad

She finally spoke after a minute " I would like to make you my second" I frozen in shock I was not expecting anything like this I am just a kid.

" yes my queen I would be happy to be your second" I spoke after being in shock she smirked

She spoke " good my dear now run along go play with your siblings" I nod my head and turn to leave when I hear her whisper something but I couldn't make out what she said I turned back around

"What did you say my queen" I said she shook her head so I continued on to my siblings when I made it back to them we continued as if I never left until our mother came out and told us it was time for dinner we went in but mom stopped me and grabbed me

My mother says " iris I have something to tell you and you have to listen very closely I need you to go in your secret hiding room and not come out to you hear silence and once you do I want you to run away from run as fast as you can and never look back and never come back" I am very confused

" why mother I thought it was time for dinner" I say

" Iris just listen to me for once please this is really important just please" my mother says I nod my head and run off to my hiding spot. I been sitting for a minute until I hear really loud bangings and yelling and screaming I was starting to get worried until there was nothing dead silence I waited a minute I got out and what I saw will traumatize me forever I saw my whole family dead on the ground I saw some azgada warriors on the ground too

I remembered what my mother said and grabbed everything I need my sword my knives and my bag of necessities and took off running I ran as fast as I could until I reached a field and all I saw was beautiful butterflies glowing in the night sky I heated something until I saw a man I got scared and tried to run but I heard him speak " wait I am not here to hurt you my name is Lincoln what is your little one" I just stood there quietly I didn't know if I could trust him yet. He nodded

"That's okay you don't have to tell me I have a place near here I will plant this flowers you see here as a trail to my place and if you would like some food or water you may join me I am not here to hurt you it's okay if you don't trust me if not I will leave some food and water out here later in the night for you" I just look at him he nods and walks away leaving a trail of flowers behind

I stood there for a minute thinking about it but I decided and that's when I did I followed the flowers to a underground cave type thing and jump down into it I walked in and saw him sitting on the ground eating food he heard me and turned around and smiled "I see you decided to join me here come sit have some food" I walked over and sat down and grabbed some food I took a bite and was amazed from how good it was I started to eat it like I haven't ate in days he looked over and laughed a little

"Iris my name is Iris" I spook after being quiet for awhile he nodded

"Iris I like that name that is very good it fits you but i think I should call you little butterfly" I looked at him confused

" why my name ain't even close to that" I say he laughs

He says " it's were I found you in the butterfly field so I will call you little butterfly" I shook my head laughing

I say " why does it have to have little in it" he looked at me

" because your little your young" i shook my head and pushed him a little

" tomorrow I will show you my village and you will become one of us" I nodded my head happily he shows me where to sleep and I lay down and I guess I didn't know how tired I was cause I was out like a light

From that day I became Iris kom trikru and was treated as if I was there's from the beginning I told Lincoln my story and become close to him he became my father I love him and trust him with everything he took me in when I needed someone I am so glad I went to that butterfly field and meet him
