The next day as you're packing up your things and preparing to leave, your phone rings. It's Sam.

"Don't leave Nebraska." He says urgently as you answer.

"Hello to you too. Why not?"

"I'm on my way to meet you in Jefferson. Loverboy and his sidekick took Dean. We're going to get him back."

"Wait, what? Why?" You ask, panic rising in your voice.

Late last night, Castiel had left with a kiss on your forehead. You were barely awake, but you remember him mentioning something about Uriel needing him. He never mentioned anything about Dean.

Sam's voice pulls you out of your thoughts. "I'll explain when I see you. I'm about an hour away."

You try to ask more, but Sam hangs up, leaving you with the dial tone.

With a sigh, you toss your phone onto the bed. You were already almost packed and Jefferson is only about half an hour's drive from Fremont, meaning you had about half an hour to stress.

Sam's behaviour is weirder than it's been in a while, the angels have Dean, and Castiel chose not to tell you anything about it. You pace back and forth for a few minutes, anxiety gnawing at you. Finally, you grab your belongings and load them into the backseat of your car.

After checking out of your room, you head towards the highway. As you're leaving town, a small cafe catches your eye, reminding you of your hunger. You make a quick U-turn, park in front of the cafe, and rush in to grab an iced coffee and a breakfast sandwich.

With your food in hand, you get back on the road, your mind racing with questions and worries.

When you reach Jefferson, you pull into the mall parking lot and call Sam.

"Hello?" He asks after a couple of rings.

"Hey, I'm here. Where are we supposed to be meeting up?"

"I just pulled into the parking lot of a mall. Where are you?"

"I'm here, too! Which end?"

"I see your car. One second." He says before hanging up on you once again.

A moment later, Sam pulls up beside you in the Impala and rolls down the passenger window. You roll down your own window to talk.

"So, mind telling me what's going on?" You ask.

"I know, I've been cryptic. I'm sorry." He looks down at his hands on the steering wheel before continuing, "They have him at some old factory, torturing Alastair. You know as well as I do, he's not strong enough."

He had a point. You never knew Dean before he went to Hell, but the version of him you do know isn't emotionally strong enough to torture the demon who tormented him there.

"Shit. Okay. I'll follow you then?"

Sam nods, rolls up his window, and drives off, with you closely behind.

After a few turns onto back roads, you arrive at an abandoned factory within ten minutes.

You get out of the car and follow Sam into the building. As you wander through the dimly lit halls, a commotion from a room in the back corner of the building catches your attention. Both of you rush towards the noise.

Barging into the room, you see Dean, bloody and unconscious sprawled on the floor. Castiel is pinned to a wall by Alastair, who is chanting something that causes blue light to shine from Castiel's eyes and mouth.

Without hesitation, Sam raises his hand, and Alastair starts choking before being slammed into the wall. Castiel collapses to the floor, and you rush to him, making sure he's okay before hurrying to Dean.
