Lab scientist P.O.V

"uhh this body was a fine specimen but he keeps fighting my possession i need a living one who won't fight my influence" said a creepy voice as black smoke emerged from the possessed body the body fell limp as the smoke blowed out and reformed into a human looking creature his skin was pitch black and smoke left from the rest of him his eyes were black with dark maroon pupils i looked at the pitch black smoke and said "if i was giving more time than i could" i was cut of by the smoke yelling "NO i have given you enough time from now on we do things my way do you understand" he finished shouting all the other scientists locked at him "well get back to work" he shouted as we all scrabbled back to what we were doing "i will find you you can not hide i will find you and destroy you hahahahahah" he laughed maniacally

Adventure bay destroyed house Ryders P.O.V  

"Rubble Zuma get down here quick" he finished put the pup pad down Chase had run to the rubble of the building crying all the way there trying to pull bits of the building to find "Marshall" Chase shouted in floods of tears Rubble and Zuma had just arrived "what happened hewe (here)" Zuma said in a panic as they saw Chase bleeding from trying to punch the wood to get to his friend "the building collapsed on Marshall Rubble we need you to clear the debris off him Zuma we need you to check him once we get him out" said Ryder promptly grabbing Chase who was squirming trying to brake free he then called down slightly and started crying Rubble was using his bulldozer to move the remnants off Marshall then ran faster than he had ever run before "hay its okay Mawshall i'm here for you just stay with me" "Ryder he's blacked out he's still breathing but he's not in good shape"  Zuma said with fear in his voice "we have to get him to the hospital NOW" Ryder said picking Marshall up on his shoulder and driving to the hospital.

when we got to the hospital we handed Marshall's body to the doctors who asked us to sit down and wait as they ran into a room with a glowing sign that said E.R i then pulled out my pup pad and called all the paw patrol to the hospital except Chase Rubble and Zuma as they were already here it wasn't long before Skye Rocky and Everest got there "Marshall where is he Ryder is okay" Everest said in a panic "i don't know" the pups all sat there crying until they all cried themselves to sleep the next morning more of the pups arrived in the form of Tracker as well as Carlos and Jake then the doctor comes into the waiting room and we all brace for the news "good news Marshall is still alive and we managed to stabilize him but we will have to keep him here for a few more days" "can we see him at least" Everest said the doctor thought for a moment before replying "yes but he is asleep and not all at once only three at a time" the doctor said before waiting for a response "alright i think me Chase and Everest should see him first" Ryder said "okay" said everyone else "excellent if you would just follow me" the doctor said before we followed him in to the E.R "just remember he still hasn't woken up yet so let him get some sleep" we walked in and sat next to a sleeping Dalmatian with cuts all down his body with wires and tubes hooked into him and an oxygen mask some of his fur was stained red and black from the blood and ash that he got when the building collapsed  "i feel so bad for him" Everest spoke out "Ryder do you think he will make it" Chase said "i don't know i just don't know" replied Ryder.

the next day still Ryder's P.O.V

one of the doctor's tells us that Marshall is awake and will make a full recovery i was over joyed  to know he was going to be okay then he told us all of you can visit at the same time as we ran to Marshall's bed all the pups jumped on the bed and started to lick him "pups stop let him talk" i said trying not to laugh "dude we wewe(were) so wowwied(worried) about you"Zuma said "are you okay" said Everest "guys i'm fine" Marshall said "lets hope this is the last trip to the hospital for a building falling on you" i said trying to make a joke "alright i will go sign the paper work and then we can all go home" i said before leaving.

Lookout Zuma's P.O.V

 "dude you pwomised  to tell us your backstory" i said "before the mission i was asking Ryder if he could gather us for a backstory meeting for me you and rocky" Marshall said "alwight good night dude" "night Zuma" Marshall said before running into the door of his pup house "offff i'm good" he said as he opined the doors and disappeared closing the door behind him as walked to my pup house for some sleep tomorrow was going to be a sad day .

the next day 

we woke up with our pup tags telling us to go to the lounge as we all entered and sat down Ryder told us to just listen to what Marshall me and Rocky have say Marshall was the first to stand up and share his story "well" he begin as we listed to speak.

A/N and thats where i leave it until next time  the next chapter will be the saddest one yet what do you think the backstory is also sorry for the really short chapter i was trying to drag it out so i hope you guys don't mind anyways chur bro
