I then look down on the floor and sigh. There's a short moment of silence before Gab speaks.

"Alex, you okay? You look like you're feeling down.." He asks in a concerned tone.

"Gab.. I.. need to talk to you about something.." I say without looking at him.

"What is it?"

I turn to Gab. "Yesterday, when I went to the mall to buy clothes for you, I also went to a drugstore to buy more medical supplies. When I was at the counter, I looked behind me and saw some beastman completely covered in black clothing, with even their tail covered in black cloth."

I pause for a moment to let Gab absorb my words. I then continue. "They gave me this creepy vibe and all they did was standing near the drug section and looking down, staying still as if they're a statue. After I left the drugstore, they also left without buying anything."

We both stay silent for a minute, letting the words hang in the air. Gab breaks the silence with a sigh. "So.. what about them? Why can't you get them off your mind?"

"...They're the killer.."

Gab's eyes widen in shock at my statement. He leans back slightly, his tail flicking nervously behind him.

"The killer?" he repeats, his voice barely above a whisper.

I nod, my expression grave. "Yeah, I have a feeling that person I saw might be the one responsible for Nora's murder."

Gab's brows furrow as he processes the information. "But how can you be so sure?"

I sigh, feeling a weight on my shoulders. "The killer's description exactly matches the ones that fit the beastman I saw yesterday. Also, the cashier from the drugstore I went to is the victim, so this can't be a coincidence."

Gab nods slowly, his expression serious. "I see... That does seem like more than just a coincidence."

I continue, my voice tinged with concern. "And the fact that they were just standing there, not buying anything, and then left right after I did... It just doesn't sit right with me."

Gab's tail twitches nervously as he processes the information. "That does sound suspicious... But why do you think they would be targeting Nora specifically?"

I shrug, feeling a sense of unease settling in. "I'm not sure... Maybe they had some kind of grudge against her? Or maybe it was just a random act of violence..."

Gab's expression darkens as he considers the possibilities. "Either way, we need to do something about it."

I nod in agreement. "Yeah, you're right. We should report what I saw to the police and see if they can use it as a lead in their investigation."

Gab nods, determination evident in his eyes. "Let's do it then. We can't let this killer roam free."

We get up from the bed and exit the bedroom, right as I'm about to open the main door, I pause. "Oh, and since I can't find anything related to your past and Ramon's visit to Alaska, I could try to ask the police regarding them. Is that okay with you?"

Gab's ears perk up and his tails wags quickly. He smiles brightly. "Oh, of course! I can't remember anything even when I'm sleeping or trying very hard to remember something, so that would be very helpful to me!"

I smile softly. "You're welcome."

We head outside the cabin. After a few steps, I point at the ground near the porch.

"This is where I found you. You were covered by a large amount of snow, probably because you were lying there injured for some time, and when I went home that night, I found you underneath a small snow mound."
