Venus' s p.o.v. :

An annoying sound was constantly disturbing my unconscious state.

It stopped suddenly and I sighed when Zac kissed the corner of the my lips.

Just when his lips were inches away from mine that sound starting bugging me again and suddenly he started pulling away then eventually vanishing into white nothingness.

"Noooooo!" I groaned loudly as my eyes shot open.

Zac Effron was just about to kiss me!

Sighing I rubbed my eyes and removed the fluffy white pillow which was squished between my arms and thighs, to see my iphone under it.

It was constantly ringing the tune of "We found love" by Rihanna which sadly reminded me so much of my past.

Man I need to change the ringtone.

Groaning I picked it up, pressed it against my ear and qroaked "Hello?"

"VENUS SERENE EMBROSE! Why the hell weren't you answering any of my calls? Why didn't you call me? We were so worried! Do you have any idea how many times I have called you? We couldn't help it and jumped into the the worst conclusions. Oh my God I thought you were kidna-" I removed the phone away from my ears, wincing as Ser's loud voice continued to screeched through the phone.

Sh!t my poor ears.

I kept it on the bedside table as there was no need to switch on the speaker and rested my back against the headboard of the bed.

She was in her mother mode right now so I'll wait until she finishes her long list of worries, complaints and questions.

I picked the 'refreshments' from the white  bedside table to see suprisingly nachos with mayonnaise dip and a drink.

Ok maybe not suprisingly, when I sent the contract and the file of my biodata, I had mensioned nachos, brownies, cakes and pizzas being my all time favourite food.

My stomach growled at the sight so without wasting much time I finished it all. The drink was actually a non alcoholic fruit punch which was tangy yet sweet.

Just about the time I was sipping down the last drop of the drink, Ser ended her long speech to take a couple of deep breaths.

Her anger has simmed down, it's safe to talk now.

I picked it from the bedside table and placed my iphone back against my ear "I am sorry mom"

"Guess I am saying sorry to everyone today" I murmed with a little shrug only to realise she can't see it.

"Why what happened?" She asked, confusion and worry laced in her voice.

"Me and my clumsy self made a wonderful first impression in front of Mrs. Malik" I said rolling my eyes and fumbling with the ends of the white bed curtain.

She gasped "Mrs. Malik as in The Queen?"

I pinched between my eyebrows and muttered an unenthusiastic "Yeah"

"Oh honey it's alright. These kind of things happen with everyone. We all are humans, it's normal to be clumsy."

"But is it normal that my clumsiness has decided to doom my life forever? I swear one day I am gonna die because of my clumsy a$$. And you know what? News flash : Mrs. Malik has a vibe of a strict headmistress and she is going to hate my guts." I told her thinking about how Mrs. Malik had pursed her lips and narrowed her eyes scanning me from head to toe.
