"Why does Chou Tzuyu's voice sound so close to you?" Jennie could not help it anymore. Her possessiveness got the best of her, just like Lisa's did at Sky Arc Complex.

"She's my personal assistant. She has to be."

Her mouth dropped at his words. "Okay, but she does she have to sit directly next to you?"

"My dear, you have to calm down—"

"Or you could just not anger me every few seconds, then maybe I can finally be calm!" Jennie did not wait for his reply before hanging up the phone.

She didn't bother going to Cerulean Water Pavillion or his house for the matter. She refused to go to a place where he could easily find her. She also did not go to her grandfather's place, for he would question her the split second she walked into the door.

Jennie made a quick-stop at Sky Arc Complex, grabbing the clothes and accessories she would wear tomorrow. She then hopped into her car and made a full detour around the city, nearly wasting all of her gas in an attempt to throw off anyone that was probably following her. Eventually, she drove to a five-star hotel, where she got a penthouse suite and collapsed onto the bed.

She could hear her phone buzz off every few seconds and she planned on ignoring it until the sound eventually got too tiring and she stood up to grab it. Turning it over, she rolled her eyes when she saw it was Lisa telling her he was willing to go home if she wanted him to. She ignored his text and focused on a few other ones.

Her eldest uncle had texted her again, asking to have dinner at the same restaurant she had gone with him, her father, and grandfather a few weeks back. She remembered it was the same night she stormed off with Won Bin, the same night her father's words cut her more than the words of her enemies. She squeezed her eyes shut, not wanting to remember his hateful phrases.

[Jennie, Uncle is very happy you agreed. This sounds very impatient of me, but when do you plan on giving me his contact? We can talk it out during lunch tomorrow.]

Jennie typed back. [Uncle, there is no need for lunch. This is his contact.] She passed it off without much care in the world and just then, Lisa texted her again.

[Where are you? The housekeepers of both Cerulean Waters Pavilion and my house said you did not come home.]

She scoffed, of course, he would keep tabs on her. [What? Is Chou Tzuyu boring you?] At this, he called her. She stared at it, debating if she wanted to pick up, but decided against it. If she heard Chou Tzuyu's voice in the background, she would truly lose her patience. She declined it. He called again. She declined again.

She typed "Go back to work," and switched off the notifications of her phone, placing it face down on the nightstand.

She felt her stomach grumble in hunger, but didn't bother to care. She took a shower and went to bed, ignoring the fact that her text message had ignited a blazing trail of fury, the first people being burnt were Lisa's poor employees upon whom he unleashed his wrath.

Jennie woke up later than planned. She cursed out loud, hurriedly taking a morning shower and placing her clothes on. She did a light layer of makeup and thoroughly did her hair, curling it in a natural wave before tying it up and spritzing on some perfume, knowing it would drive Lisa crazy.

She gave herself a final look in the mirror, satisfied with what she saw. She wore a loose and flowy white top tucked into a pastel pink pencil skirt that stopped a bit above her knees, giving her a slight hourglass figure, paired with low heels.

Her stomach screamed for food, but she did not have enough time to eat anything. She brewed herself a cup of tea from the tray of amenities and rushed downstairs to her car, nearly burning herself in the process.

She checked the time and saw she had twenty minutes to get there, which was more than enough. Blowing out a sigh of relief, she felt the boulder on her shoulders finally lessen.

Fifteen minutes later, she reached RJ. There was another car that was pulling up behind her in the far back and when she saw the Black Maybach surrounded by a few other cars that blended into the background, she knew exactly which Young Master was in there.

Needless to say, she ran to the elevator, repeatedly pressing the button. She could feel more stares on her and chose to ignore it.

She blew out a puff of relief when the door finally dinged open. She could see people laying out a grand carpet and the employees lining up to greet Lisa. The door opened in a very dramatic manner, slow-motion even, as if it was a movie, and in strolled the Emperor himself.

Dashing as always, tall legs that stretched for miles, hands tucked into his pocket, eyes sharp and slightly narrowed, he gave off a mysterious persona that drew the women closer. The coat jacket hanging on his shoulders fluttered with each confident step of his. She understood why he was known as the Nation's Husband, beating out many A-list actors.

She stopped ogling him when her eyes trailed behind him where Chou Tzuyu was not far from him, walking further than most of Lisa's private team, Kang Seulgi a step behind her. Her mood dampened again as she pressed the door to the elevator close and went to the highest floor of the building.

She went to Kim Hanbin's office and saw him inside whereas Kim Mingyu was most likely in the meeting room, setting everything up.

"I'm sure you already know of this, but Li— ahem, I mean, President Manoban has entered the building." She was not surprised that he was not going to attend the meeting. He was a very low key and private person who did not want to be in the eyes of the media.

"Yes, and why are you not in the meeting room?" He placed his pen down and finally glanced up from his paper. He immediately wished he didn't.

She was breathtaking, his heart rapidly thumped at the sight of her. She sure knew how to drive a man crazy. Only her neck and legs were revealed, but that was enough for his heart to skip a beat. Her swan neck was out for everyone to see, adorned by the small frill cuff of her white top, and her slender, long legs, Kim Hanbin did not know how to react.

"What? Do I look weird?" She furrowed her brows, glancing down at her outfit upon seeing his prolonged stare.

"No, you look amazing." He muttered, standing up, his fingers irking to release her hair from the ponytail she was sporting.

"If you stay here any longer, you're gonna miss greeting President Manoban." He walked to her, using all of his willpower to not touch her hair.

"I know." She shrugged, preferring to make a dramatic entrance.

"Are you going as the CEO, Vice President, or representative of RJ?" He asked her.

"As the CEO." She said, without hesitation. "I know this request is sudden, but do you want to come with me as the Vice President?"

When she saw his expression changed, she hurriedly said, "Your face won't be publicized if you go as Vice President since most of the attention will be on the CEO. I'll make sure you keep your privacy—"

"Let's go then." He mused, pressing a hand to her upper back, guiding her out of the door. He wanted to go to the meeting anyway. Lisa was there and he knew Kim Mingyu would be pardoned from the room. He'd rather not have the two in the room alone.
