"alexandra! over here!" a photographer says, calling me over.

i pose for the photos before entering the venue. i had no clue who was going to be here, but i presumed that both the mercedes drivers would be there. other than that, i knew no-one.

everyone invited had been given a specific seat, so im hoping to be sat next to some other models that i could talk too. after all, even if i do say so myself i am quite famous. so hopefully someone will talk to me.

i was guided to my seat, where there was only 1 other person on the table. i was sat next to them, its so awkward to be the first at a table.

"hi, im alexandra." i say, smiling at them politely with my dimples showing as i sit down.

" reuben." they reply.

i talk to reuben for about 5 minutes as other people begin arriving, and there was only 1 seat left on our table to be filled. it was on the other side of me, but i had no idea who was sitting there.

reuben was really nice and we got along easily, and he even lives in monaco but he is originally from england.

"whose sitting next to you?" he asks.

"i'm not sure..." i say, as the one and only george russell is guided over and sits down.

all i could do was smile politely at him and introduce him to reuben. no-one needs to know about our hatred for each other.

"did you watch practice?" george whispers to me, a smug smile in his face.

"yes i did, pass my congrats to lewis on second fastest will you?" i say.

"will do." george mutters, i could tell he was annoyed and i couldn't help but smile.

the next two hours were dreadful, i had to talk to george the majority of the time, acting like i didn't hate him. at least by the end of the dinner i had made great friend with reuben and we exchanged numbers to meet up again soon.

i don't know if it was just me, but george looked almost... jealous? i mean i don't know why he would be jealous, he hates me. i guess i just read it wrong or something.

i took plenty of photos for instagram, and the food was amazing. i had the salmon, and i must say it was one of the best salmon dishes i had ever had.

it was coming to the end of the event, and george beside me was quite drunk, unlike me who only had 1 drink. i had lost count of how many drinks he had.

but i guess when the event is mostly about you, you get away with anything. no-one seemed to bat an eyelid that george was a little bit drunk.

even though i don't like george, im not a bad person. i'm not going to just leave him here alone. so i decide to go and find him.

"george." i say, approaching him.

"martinez?" he says. his hair was all ruffled. definitely drunk

"are you drunk?"

"what? me? never."

"okay, come on i'm taking you home before you make a fool of yourself."

"wow, y'know martinez if you wanted to spend the night with me you should have just said."

"i don't want to sleep with you russell. i'm just taking you to your apartment." i say, guiding him out of the venue to where my taxi was waiting.

"alexandra... martinez." george says, his words slurring, whilst looking at me. i had finally managed to get him to sit in the taxi and we were driving back.

"george russell." i say, smiling slightly

"such a pretty face." he says softly and i couldn't help but blush.

not even i couldn't admit that george is handsome, because he really is. and.. when he's shirtless... it's mesmerising.

"why thank you mr russell, your not so bad yourself" i reply.

"really?" he says, his face lighting up.

"yeah." i say softly.

"who would have ever known! you find me pretty." he says, and i laugh a little.

"come on russell, we are here." i say, opening the door and helping him out.

"come on, into the elevator." i say, guiding him into the apartment complex and into the elevator.

i was stood opposite him, just in case he falls. i know he won't, but still. he might.

"your really pretty you know."

"you said... but thank you." i say, blushing a little.

"anytime." he says, winking.

"do you er have your apartment key?" i ask as we get to george's apartment.

he unlocks the door and i follow him in, just to make sure he gets to bed without hurting himself.  i realise i had never seen inside his apartment, and it was nothing like i had imagined. not that i was imagining his apartment.

i sit down in george's living room, just looking around at his apartment. i actually really like it.
i look at his clock and see it was nearly midnight, and i had a whole day at the track tomorrow.

"george?" i say, walking around trying to find him when he walks out of his bedroom shirtless.

"yeah?" he says, looking down at me. i know im quite tall, but george is on a whole other level.

"im gonna go now, i need to get to sleep. and so do you. your driving tomorrow." i say quietly.

"i'm driving you tomorrow." he says with a smile on his face.

"w-what do you mean?" i ask confused.

"i'm driving you around a lap."

"like a hot lap?"

"yes!"

"well then you better go to sleep because i don't want to crash." i say.

"i would never crash with you in car, don't be silly." he says, making me laugh a little.

"okay then, goodnight george."

"goodnight alexandra." he says before i leave and head to my own apartment smiling to myself.
