Sorry, everyone, it's just ol' Page trying to mess up my reviews and my mood. Okay, coming to the point; ah yes, Dappling. The controversial, forbidden romance. Let's agree; we all liked Darling's sudden 'CPR'. Honestly, that was one of the actual glimpses of Dappling in the whole show, which I found was evident.
Dappling has a special place in the Ever After High fandom, especially due to that CPR moment. It was one of the few times we saw real chemistry between them, with Darling saving Apple and giving us a powerful glimpse of their connection. The moment was so brief yet exhilarating enough to spark excitement among all.
It's a ship with a lot of potential, a twist on the classic "prince saves princess" trope, but with Darling taking on the role of the knight in shining armor. Their dynamic could have been explored more, but yeah, it was not able to, considering some inconveniences. (*cough*) In the end, Dappling isn't just a ship; it's an emotion, y'all! I mean, who wouldn't love the angst?
But I am tied between Dappling and Darlase, guys. That might be a slight problem...😶
